Like, I don't think I've ever actually seen a Killer Investigation Cop before in any game. Couldn't Blaine's Time Machine do the same thing? Hell couldn't a Watcher or a Tracker cover this as well?

Could they though? Looking at how simple my ability is I actually think scum would be scared of faking a claim of a role that someone already has. Cooking up an outside-the-box idea would make sure no townie would call you out on your claim.
