I saw this on Tweeter alongside the rumors that Isco has agreed to join Real. Nothing official yet. (I think)

Just don't see this happening. One of my fav players atm though.

chelsea goalkeeper thibaut courtois has joined ath madrid on loan for a third season

Was the best keeper in the world last year in terms of form. Excellent for Atletico Madrid.

Where will be fit?

Could play RM as Di Maria is Nani-like: inconsistent. Could also play in one of the CDM spots instead of Khedira (most likely won't replace Alonso), or could play in the CAM spot when Ozil isn't firing or isn't fit. Ozil is subbed almost every single game so we will see lots of him.

Why the hell are they doing this and, presumably, sticking with Cech for yet another year?

Meh, Cech is reliable I guess. The guy was incredible in some games last year; mainly against us :(. His save from Hernandez's header was save of the year.

Courtois wants weekly football to play for his country.

I'd be pretty upset as well if I were a City fan. Sort of am as a BPL fan, and would understand many BPL enthusiasts being too, but I'll be seeing him in Madrid as well so it's no biggie. I'm going to Madrid during the footy season, and will be watching a few games while I am there. I hope he plays.

Can't blame him with the world cup coming up
