DDP beating the streak would have been fine and possibly better than Nash but I've always thought the Nash version could have been tweaked slightly to have been better and it would have been the best scenario

Same. Nash was so over and the fans wanted him to end it, so if you tweak it a little, he's the best choice imo.

Agreed. The biggest failure on the Elite, even though I love their 1999 segments is none of their issues were resolved. If Hogan came back to the Wolfpac and let Nash lead the group and be champion, it makes it make mroe sense to from the Elite.

True. They really wanted Goldberg to kill the bigger and badder nWo and it's not really a bad plan if the Hogan didn't get hurt, Hall got hurt, Luger got hurt and the nWo quietly disbanded in May. Goldberg would have been made by killing the nWo had they made it to Bash like was the plan.
