Only one that rivals it is lowkey Brock/Goldberg from WrestleMania bc they somehow booked that 100% perfectly

They did replay it on Nitro because the PPV cut out early

Part of me thinks DDP should have ended the streak, but also Starrcade 1998 drew half a million buys and the crowd popped like fuck when Nash beat Goldberg. Fans didn't hate it in 1998 like they try to claim in 2020.

Same, but like I said Nash and Goldberg drew the third biggest WCW buyrate in WCW history.

Nash was OVER in 1998.

DDP beating the streak would have been fine and possibly better than Nash but I've always thought the Nash version could have been tweaked slightly to have been better and it would have been the best scenario

The biggest mistake with the fingerpoke wasn't the title swap, it was killing Nash as a babyface.
