And so far Star Wars has sold. $6.5 Million in tickets for Imax, 45000 tickets in the uk, and has sold 8 times the amount of tickets for pre-ordered movies than the last highest seller. Apparently it has a 16-1 odds of beating Avatar for the too grossing movie ever.

So they think it's gonna make 2.7 billion eh? We'll see.

I'll say this:

People thought Age Of Ultron might trouble Avatar, but even that didn't have the hype this movie does. If it taps into the same nostalgia market Jurassic World did earlier in the year, and Back To The Future seems to be doing today, then there's a good chance this could very well break that record.
