WWE referee Marc Harris, the referee involved in the botched finish with AJ Lee vs. Natalya on last night's RAW, lashed out at his "haters" on Facebook after the show:

"Funny how "amateur", "indie", and "unemployed former refs" think they know it all but have NO IDEA. There's a reason your where your at and I'm where I'm at, "a professional referee with the number one entertainment company in the world. I'm the now, your yester year. Keep your opinions to yourself cause I'm definitely not taking advice from someone with less experience and not at a level I am, so continue to hate and I'll continue to work tv's and pay per view. Enjoy your life cause I'm loving mine!"

Couldn't think of a better title. But what do you think of Marc Harris lashing out? He knows he made a mistake but it came off very bad as they had to repeat the spot once again because he wasn't looking.

Thoughts?

Honestly I would put just as much if not more blame on Nattie and AJ for that botch than the ref. For some reason Nattie let go of the hold when she wasn't supposed to and AJ tapped for no reason considering she tapped after the hold was let go. Was just a total shitfest all around.

I blame Natalya the most. She's the one that let go of the hold before AJ tapped out. Sure, the referee could have avoided an awkward situation by just letting it count, but technically it shouldn't have been. It's like someone hitting a big move in a match and going for the cover, only for the referee to tell him that his opponents shoulder isn't fully on the mat. It may not look good, but at least it's the right call.

I doubt his job is in danger due to the botched finish, but this lashing out can't definitely help him keep his job. It'd be the equivalent of AJ bitching online about the botched finish, just doesn't look good for the company imo.

Not rewatched the incident since I saw it live so i'm only going to comment on what I thought I saw go down at the time.

To me it seemed like Natalya dropped the Sharpshooter because AJ should have tapped by then. I heard Nattie shout something at AJ, something like "Is that good enough for you AJ?" basically implying that AJ was holding on for longer than she should have.

End of the day though it was just a massive fuckup in a massive wtf match. Why the hell is AJ to tapping to Natalya 6 days out from SummerSlam anyway and why the fuck did they not have Big E beat down Khali.

The less said about that whole match the better really.

Never watched it but heel ref showed more personality in that tweet than most the roster have showed on TV.

I find it really hard to take anyone serious when they show the education of a 5th grader.

I think what he said is a little unnecessary. He fucked up, and he wasn't man enough to admit his mistake. Instead he went to Facebook to defend himself and talk down to basically anyone not in the WWE. Piss poor attitude there. Just take the mistake and move on.

Start at 3:30. This is a gray area. AJ tapped as Nattie was releasing the hold, and the ref didn't count that as tapping. Was just an awkward moment. Again though, shouldn't the ref know that the finish of the match is AJ tapping to the Sharpshooter, and he clearly saw her tap, even though Nattie barely had the hold on anymore, which means he should have called the match there.

Nattie knew the finish and when AJ tapped she let go of the move a short while later. The referee was out of position. Of course it looks way fuckin' worse on television when these are paid professionals and aren't supposed to expose the business like this but Nattie/AJ even though it looked like trash to repeat the finish it made some sense because Nattie should be able to drag AJ around like she's nuthin' anyways.

Ref isn't at fault at all. Nattie released the hold early, maybe a split second before AJ started tapping. AJ taps but there isn't a hold there. So the ref made the best of the situation and didn't count it. Seems like he actually did the smart move there.

I feel like all three are pretty much at fault here, but whatever you believe, it was pretty dumb for the ref to bring it out like this. Would have been way better to forget the whole thing.

Ref was hacked by Kurt Angle bored n rehab.

It's a Divas match btw, since when does anyone give two shits about diva matches? They botch and now it's time to talk Divas wrestling? The cliched "piss break" match nobody says they ever watch?
