I always thought it was more that her state of undress reminded him of his sister. I've never thought his killings were motivated by sexual inadequacy.

Love that Carpenter shows The Thing on tv a few years before remaking it into a better movie.

That's definitely a factor for sure. I didn't mean his killing were motivated, just that award exit knocking over the potter and the poor fate of the animal.

Thing is awesome. Such a great omen.
