I don't think they could have done a better job with it. Splicing it with credits kept the surprise and built the suspense. I am so pumped for '82 now. I usually watch these in one sitting. It's dope.

Yeah, that ending sets up the beginning perfectly and this really is a good prequel and is just that. Really fail to see how people can say this is a remake in anyway.

Dense people for the lose. It is a great ride even if it wasn't a prequel. But being a prequel makes even better. Picking out all the nods to 1982 is awesome fun.

It was really great watching it with people that have seen the original and get the little things this time.

Dope. Like when MEW tells the guy to leave the axe. Great foreshadowing.

The director said they studied the original carefully to get every detail from the axe to the double body thing.
