I would double dip. I love the audio on most of the BD transfers, but quite a few still look like DVD quality picture. Especially the middle Fridays.

The Friday DVD's are fine, it's meant to look bad but I'm starting to wonder if the grain on Blu Ray will make them look even better. The Nightmare movies are fine, but they're just upconversions of the old DVD box set.

Have you not seen the Blu-ray set released by Warner in 2013? It's basically like the Nightmares, only upscaled. The new mixes are fantastic, though.

They might be retconning its existence into previous films; however, Loomis would have seen it in part 5 as it was on the walls of the Myers house. They could also be implying it was always there and possibly a symbol he drew in the asylum. Much like Danny.

Yes, the nightmare set as well, but I mean the Friday set. WB after getting the rights back released all 12 films on BD including the New Line films and the remake in one set. All the films after Final Chapter are doubled up on one disc and are basically upconversions of the DVD transfer, much like the Nightmares.
