2. Thinking that Shinsuke’s only good match was with Sami is so fucking stupid.

I wouldn't say it was his only good one but it's by far his best in WWE that he hasn't came close to since IMO So I'd probably say it was his only great match and he has been slowly falling ever since unless this push is able to rejuvenate him

It's like someone thinks we been talking about the man's entire career and not just his WWE run because it looks like he may be poised for something big......in WWE.

Well he’s been falling because his heel turn has had him working shorter matches. I’d say his match with Sami was his “best”
but that doesn’t mean he should be criticized for other matches not being as good or surpassing because he’s had a lot of other very good matches so

Should also be reminded that Shinsuke likely isn't able to, or is unwilling to work the NJPW style matches that he used to whip out nightly. If he was motivated/allowed to put on his style of match, I imagine they'd be near miles better than they currently are. The Sami match for one was probably the closest to his style of match.

I'm not criticizing him, I'm a big fan as previously stated in this thread. I never said the falling off was his fault, bookings fault, a combination of both, etc just that his main roster run hasn't been as hot as I wanted for one reason or another. But I don't think someone is fucking stupid for only enjoying the Sami match either so that's mostly what I'm rebuking here.

Yeah I see what you mean. I definitely think Shinsuke is another example of the WWE main roster misusing or misunderstanding a talent. I think NXT definitely played to his strengths better and allowed him to be charismatic and consistently put on good matches. His main roster run hasn’t been handled very well for the most part and his match quality has been affected as a result. He’s only had a couple of memorable matches on SD but he hasn’t come close to where he was in NXT so hopefully this will be the beginning of a change.
