Shinsuke is making a comeback?

So I’m sure you guys all saw that WWE started a huge babyface push for Shinsuke Nakamura randomly two weeks ago on Smackdown. First they had him beat three top opponents in a gauntlet match and then this week we saw the return of his old entrance theme. What’re your thoughts on WWE’s apparent renewed interest in Shinsuke and where could it lead

Shinsuke won me back over in that first match in the gauntlet tbh, it's like he just flipped the switch again. Looks like Cesaro might be getting a lil' something something too and if true

Hopefully it's another run with him and not just some false dawn. Didn't see the gauntlet match myself but heard similar sentiments that he looked great again.

Nakamura will never get over in the states as this is a culture of storyline, promo and character, which he doesn’t have.

Facial expressions and mannerisms don’t cut it, he has to verbally communicate with the audience.

And in ring/workrate certainly will not cut it.

He was pretty over in NXT, and during his first run on the main roster. He was the most over wrestler at the house shows (Columbus and Albany) I went to as well. This was during Jindal Mahal's title run. Which itself, was just crap. Nakamura should have went over him that year.

It was also a wasted Royal Rumble win. Dude was on fire back then.

3. I do agree with you that Shinsuke was on fire at first, probs shoulda just won at SummerSlam even before he won the Rumble
