I'd like to point out that it's pretty badass how he finished the match while injured. I know a lot of other wrestlers did similar things, but we should never take for granted the dedication of these guys.

No doubt earned him some more respect points with McMahon and Hunter, especially considering HHH put himself through the same thing when he tore his quad wrestling in the main event of Raw back in May of 2001.

Yeah. It's something you really would expect of your top star.

The only American company that makes money from live events that run on a major scale is ROH. WWE barely breaks even off of their house shows and haven't done serious profit from them in at least 5 years. The only reason they run them is to give talent dates to work, experience and as marketing. As well as allowing talent to prep for PPVs/RAW byt doing live shows. The international tours make money but that is because it is a special occassion when WWE comes to Europe or Japan.

Just to join in this fun :

"Live events net revenues were $110.7 million, $113.1 million and $106.6 million, representing 20%, 22% and 22% of total net revenues in 2014, 2013 and 2012, respectively."

20% of revenue indicates they are probably making money : http://ir.corporate.wwe.com/Cache/28495894.PDF?Y=&O=PDF&D=&FID=28495894&T=&OSID=9&IID=4121687 (page 6 at the bottom under live events.)

"In 2014, we produced 264 live events throughout North America, entertaining approximately 1.6 million fans at average ticket price of $48.86. We hold many of our live events at major arenas across the country. In addition to providing content for our television and other programming, these events provide us with a real-time assessment of the popularity of our storylines and characters. In 2014, we produced 54 live events internationally, reaching approximately 300,000 fans at an average ticket price of $75.81. These events were spread over several international tours throughout Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Latin America and Australia. Live events net revenues were $110.7 million, $113.1 million and $106.6 million, representing 20%, 22% and 22% of total net revenues in 2014, 2013 and 2012, respectively."

Domestic houseshows make them 296121.21 per show (48.86*1,600,000) / 264

International events make them per houseshow 421166.66
(75.81*300,000)/54

So yeah you're right the international shows make more per show but overall they're making a killing on the houseshow circuit. Since these are approximations the numbers will vary but I can't see them paying out 200,000 plus a show, especially if the majority of talent covers their own flights. Likewise with the 400,000 + on international shows.

Only the main eventers fly regularly. Most of the midcarders share cars because it is cheaper.

Isn't really relevant in this case is it (sorry, I may be missing the boat here :haha:) unless it shows that it's pretty likely they aren't getting paid enough to break over that threshold for live events. You watched Spurs yet? I'm 55 minutes in.

Watched it live. Coming down off the adrenaline rush since it became a bloody war.

Apparently Rollins is healing ahead of schedule. Truly he is the heir to John Cena
