Rey Mysterio Suspended

In accordance with its Talent Wellness Program, WWE has suspended Oscar Gutierrez (Rey Mysterio) for 60 days effective Thursday, April 26 for his second violation of the company's policy.

Well, injured or not, Rey's not going to be back any time soon.

And that's suspension number two for Rey, one more strike and he's gone.

I don't worship Mysterio but its hard to argue that he isn't one of the consistently strong performers on the roster who is perma-over.

That being said, I guess we won't be seeing him around for awhile, which is fine because they need to be focusing on new talent anyway.

I liked him when he wasn't in the main event cause he doesn't scream world HEAVYWEIGHT champion I mean the title was just about as big as he is and that as sad honestly. When he was in the tag division and the cruiserweight division he was fine as that's where he belongs, hell I didn't even mind when he was going for the intercontinental championship because at least that titles not about a weight division and didn't look all that stupid on him.

Who knows what he got suspended for though? It's possible it was just a prescription medication that he was taking for his back that the actual prescription expired on. I highly doubt it was heroin or anything.
