Yeah, so you basically just said Jaws is boring as well, because that's essentially what happens in that movie if you replace the word alien with shark. Alien is a landmark piece of cinematic history that consistently ranks at the top of every critics lists of the best horrors of all time. I'm sure you liked Avatar more, but that's because your tastes haven't matured yet. If you watch Alien again in about 10 years, you'll realize why its infinitely better than Avatar, because right now you don't really know any better.

I haven't seen Jaws so I don't know. I'm a man of action so that's why I didn't like Alien. I can see why people loved it.

After finally getting to see Texas Chainsaw 3D today, I have to say I wasn't disappointed, but it wasn't that great either. I will post more of my thoughts on it later, but it was worth the watch.

I thought it was a pretty fun little popcorn flick.

Gangster Squad was a great movie. Excellently acted and Emma Stone was just perfect. I really loved it.
A Haunted House was damn funny I watched it twice and still laughed my ass off.

Well, I'm glad I didn't go to the theater to see it. It was good, but not theater worthy. Anyway, I didn't think the acting was to bad, although Nikki (Tania Raymonde) was a bit over the top with her screaming. As a leading lady Alexandra Daddario was pretty damn good. She was a lead that you could get behind and want to see live. The guys, not so impressed with them. Darryl, Ryan and Carl were all forgettable. And honestly, other than their names, I have forgotten them. I loved that they brought back the original Leatherface to have a bit part in the movie. Seeing Gunnar Hansen at the beginning was great.

Finally, an R rated horror movie with a lot of gore. The only thing it was missing was tits. All in all if you are looking for a horror movie to watch and haven't checked it out, check it out.

I think I am going to go watch it again.

So yeah, Star Trek Into Darkness was fucking phenomenal, totally blew my expectations away and my dick off. Way, way better than Iron Man 3.

Yeah I just watched the previous Star Trek for the first time last week so it was fresh in my mind for the sequel and it amazing. Acting was off the charts the emotion was great and the big reveal was out of left field.

Yeah, the acting was fantastic, everyone really brought their A-game. I also loved that every character got a chance to do something and have some decent screen time. As for the reveal, I had a feeling but I was still pretty surprised when it happened. I thought they handled that aspect of the story really well.

I think they're signed on for at least two more, so we have that to look forward to.

They all work so damn well together. I loved Into Darkness, loved IM3 too but this tops it for me.

I liked it so much I'm going to see it again tomorrow. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a movie enough to pay to see it twice.
