The main event of the night was the four way final of the PPW World Championship G1 Climax which featured the quartet of Seth Rollins, Edge, Bryan Danielson and Gunther.
Three of the four men spent the entirety of the match attempting to keep Gunther down for the count and while the big man held his own for a while the numbers game proved too much. It took a Roundhouse Kick from Danielson, a Spear from Edge and finally a Curb Stomp from Rollins to keep him down.
The three remaining men beat the shit out of each other for another ten minutes which led into the thrilling conclusion. Edge hit a Spear on Danielson and attempted a pin only for Seth Rollins to hit a Curb Stomp on him and then pinned Edge.
