We can now confirm that Kevin Nash is being discussed as a potential inductee for the 2013 WWE Hall of Fame. Nash is a former WWE & WCW Champion, former WCW Tag Team Champion, one of the original members of the nWo and also happens to be very close friends with WWE executive Triple H.

There have been many rumored names for the 2013 WWE Hall of Fame class, including The Rock, Bruno Sammartino, Mick Foley, Paul Heyman, Owen Hart, The Ultimate Warrior, Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth. Celebrity inductees rumored include Cyndi Lauper and Mr. T, who were both involved with the first WrestleMania at Madison Square Garden, the site of next year's ceremony.

At this time, the word is that Randy Savage is off of the list since his brother Lanny Poffo made it clear in discussions with WWE that the Poffo family would have to be inducted all together because "that was Randy's wish." Poffo also discussed this in a recent shoot interview and WWE reportedly stated that, "we don't negotiate things like that." The feeling from WWE is that their audience wants "the WWE Macho Man Randy Savage" inducted into the Hall of Fame, not "Randy, Lanny, and Angelo Poffo as a family unit."

A source stated that WWE writers were told that, "we're passing on Lanny's claim, and so Randy will have to remain out for now."

Both Sammartino and Warrior have turned down several offers in the past, but there is still hope that a deal can be made with one of them as we've been reporting.

Mick Foley and The Rock have also apparently been taken off the table for consideration.

That's a great list, would also love Macho Man & Poffo family inducted as well. Don't know about Cyndi Lauper & Mr. T however...

Mick Foley should headline this years Hall of Fame. By far. If Randy is not going in then Foley for sure. Dude is one of the most underrated stars in the business. He is a star no less, but he is never compared to the likes of greats such as Michaels, Taker, Austin, Rock. Foley is right up there as well.

Owen won't go in. Warrior won't accept. Too soon for Heyman and Rock.

Don't mind Nash though.

Cyndi Lauper helped the WWF become mainstream with her involvement, so it makes sense to induct her.....longtime coming if you ask me.

This is like Rush not getting into the Rock n Roll HOF until recently.

Nash, DDP, Trish, Lita, Mr. T, Mayweather, Trump, Steiner Brothers, and DX as a whole would be my considerations.

edit - I forgot Teddy Long, he should really go in there without a doubt

Honestly, they cant induct Liz without Randy. Lanny should just fuck off and agree to induct them.

Mr T. & Lauper are much better choices than anyone else in the celebrity wing.

Owen would be a dream, I did find it kind of funny that Bret has all of Owen's moves in WWE '13, but thats as close as any of us will get.

Also, Austin has been inducted, its not too soon for The Rock.

First off, the "Celebrity Wing" is a fuckin' joke. It doesn't belong anywhere near the words "Hall of Fame"

Nash doesn't belong because he's gotten over for being big, connected politically and being the laziest worker of all time.

As we've discussed, Savage and Owen Hart won't go in because of family issues.

Mick Foley should headline the HoF. That's a given. Has Paul Orndorff been inducted yet? Has Mr. Perfect been inducted yet?

Other than Lauper and Tyson I don't see much need for the Celeb wing. Lauper helped usher in Mania. Tyson was a very nice part of the whole Mania XIV build and also really helepd get WWF back to mainstream when it was in its dying days.

If it wasn't for celebrity involvement in WM, then the WWf wouldn't have been more then the north eastern territory it was. Wrestling wouldn't have gotten the boom it did and it wouldn't have been mainstream and relegated to the smoky bingo hall circuit where guys would still be getting shit payoffs. The celebrity wing has it's place.....WWE HOF shouldn't be considered a real HOF like any sports organization. That would be laughable.

Nash, has his place, like others. You got Koko B. Ware in the same HOF, just because you didn't like them, doesn't mean they don't deserve recognition.

Neither Nash nor Koko B. Ware belong in the HoF.

Nash has done more to take asses OUT of the seats than he's ever helped put IN the seats. I'd rather see Naked Mideon in the HoF than I would Kevin "Big Lazy" Nash

Nash belongs for sure.

Realistically speaking, my list would be Headlined by Foley. Then also include Nash, Brian Pillman, Teddy Long, Mr. T, Cyndi Lauper, Trish and or Lita, Rick Rude, and the Freebirds.

That covers the headliners, the celebrities, the divas, the usual team thrown in.

Shit, totally forgot about the Freebirds. Those guys BELONG in there for sure. Did the British Bulldogs make it in as a tag team?

For that matter, why haven't Harlem Heat been inducted as a tag team? Like them or not, they were pretty important in establishing credibility for black tag teams in Southern Wrestling. They were pretty talented too.

RIGHT ON!!!! something tells me that Rick Rude is not in because of the stunt he pulled when he appeared on both shows in one night years ago..... and the Freebirds are so high on my list of teams/stables, great calls on both!!
