Jessie J was pretty in purple on the first day of the V Festival at Weston Park in Stafford, England. The Brit had to perform her set in a chair after fracturing her ankle when she fell off stage during a previous rehearsal. But that didn’t stop her from looking fly in a purple wig and studded black boot cast (her backstage outfit was just as chic). The goofy songstress crossed her eyes while singing her hit “Price Tag” and latest single “Who’s Laughing Now.”
Jessie’s U.S. fans will have the chance to see her when she travels to L.A. for the MTV Video Music Awards next Sunday and joins Katy Perry on her “California Dreams” tour this fall.

Beyoncé will pay tribute to her idol Michael Jackson during a star-studded tribute concert in October.

The singer will appear via satellite at “Michael Forever: The Tribute Concert,” promoters announced on Facebook. She will perform one of her favorite Jackson 5 records in what’s being billed as a “unique, never-before-seen performance.”
She was unable to appear live due to a scheduling conflict. “A lifelong Michael fan, Beyoncé really wanted to be involved in this tribute concert,” read the statement. “Due to scheduling issues she can’t be there in person, but this performance is not to be missed!”
The concert, sanctioned by Michael’s mother Katherine Jackson, will take place on October 8 in Cardiff, Wales, with members of the Jackson family taking the stage including the King of Pop’s brothers and 3T, which consists of Tito Jackson’s three sons.
Previously announced performers include Christina Aguilera, Leona Lewis, Cee Lo Green, Smokey Robinson, JLS, Alien Ant Farm, and Craig David.

Hot Shots: Leona Lewis ‘Collide’ Video Stills

Pop powerhouse Leona Lewis is gearing up for the release of her latest video – the visual for controversial new single ‘Collide’.
Despite a lukewarm response to the actual song, the track has made many a headline – not least due to the plagiarism lawsuit which was filed against Lewis and label Syco.
With the matter now settled (and Avicii added as named feature), the X Factor star is pressing on – teasing fans today with these still from the single’s much delayed video. The clip is slated to debut any day now – especially as its September 4th UK release was nots revised after the case went to court.
