I don't think he was going there and using gay apps because he was planning but because he was actually gay and to add to that, something other than religion was his motive of shooting the place up.

My guess is that he felt ashamed of himself for being gay.

He could have been a self-hating Muslim. I know self-hating people of all religions. Either way, it was likely just him hating who is was and making other people pay for it. I just don't see any logic at all in that. It is just sick and sad.

Sounds like this is a case of being ashamed of who he was, he was likely bullied for it. Either way, there is more than enough issues that SHOULD make any state keep an eye on him. As I mentioned before, I don't blame guns or religion, I blame the government and the state for not handling his cases better. He clearly had his demons (issues).
