To be fair, in 2014, there wasn't really anyone else to have Taker lose to. I still think it was the right decision and as much as people complain about Brock, at least he still shows up. Imagine if Taker had lost to Cena, who was going to be gone from the company in almost two year's time. I would have been more appalled, tbh.


Then again, I booked Curtis Axel to beat him at Mania once.

Bro Lesnar is a total part timer. I wouldn't have necessarily used the streak to help a young gun who isn't established but at least have him lose it to a full time star. Even from a respect standpoint it wasn't right to take the streak from the Undertaker who's given everything to the company to someone like Brock who openly admits he doesn't give a fuck about the company and does it for the money.

Not sure you can make that argument. If Taker didn't want to lose it to Lesnar, he wouldn't have. He has a good relationship with Brock it seems and was probably aware that WWE wanted to use Brock the way they have. He has enough clout where he could have turned it down, but he didn't.
