Flair will always be entertaining. He don't even need to wrestle to be entertaining. His mic work is over that he only needs to talk.

How did WWE and Taker screw up the streak.

Right guy was the one to end it and that person has been protected perfectly because of it?

If an audience is still going to pay to see an old man perform.....they'll keep doing it. sure never seen this kind of shit when Terry Funk was an ECW champion.

Nobody was telling Flair to retire when he was in Evolution.

Well terry funk was just getting his brains beat in every night which I guess was entertaining and Flair was booked perfectly as the mentor to young talent.

As far as the streak goes, we could have this conversation until kingdom come. I thought the streak should've been saved for a younger guy to beat and have Undertaker retire. WWE obviously thought it should just be to build Brock. I disagree. Whatever.

I'm still a fan of Brock beating the streak since he was believable in 2014, so I'm not going to bother having a dog in this fight. Feel free to disagree, since it's all opinion based. :wedone

Don't worry, I'm not going to debate a guy who claims to not watch the product while still spouting opinions on why it sucks.

Well terry funk was just getting his brains beat in every night which I guess was entertaining and Flair was booked perfectly as the mentor to young talent.
Getting brains beat in is somehow better than a few blown spots? K.

Lol I don't watch trash you damn right. Both of you are okay with them wasting a great tool for an full time possible push of a young guy in favor of a part time jack-ass then this absolutely proves to me two things:

1. Deezy you will never be worth debating with about anything. To me you aren't worth the time or bandwidth of your membership. Do us a favor..

2. You will accept mediocre product.

That's fine. But, doesn't change fact of the matter. Have a nice day..

To be fair, in 2014, there wasn't really anyone else to have Taker lose to. I still think it was the right decision and as much as people complain about Brock, at least he still shows up. Imagine if Taker had lost to Cena, who was going to be gone from the company in almost two year's time. I would have been more appalled, tbh.

Then again, I booked Curtis Axel to beat him at Mania once. :side:

I don't think the streak should have been given to anyone established. They don't need it.

I'm not necessarily sure I agree with that, to be honest. I think having someone who's at least accomplished something and has shown he can connect to the fans (for a sustained amount of time) should be important. Giving it someone just coming up the pike I think would have been a complete disaster.

Well the person coming up the pike for a push into the main event is the exact person something like that is designed for. It's kinda like doing the job. Putting someone over.

Brock was over already. Cena is over already. Hell Michael's was over already so him losing made sense. Brock winning made no sense, period.

I would've 100% had Punk beat the streak. Only problem is without addressing the other, bigger issues he would have still ended up leaving. Still, at that time, Punk was in prime position to end it and get a huge rub.

Lesnar wasn't a horrible choice by any means either, though.

Why you guys would think people who already over in the product would need to beat the streak just baffles me..

By the same token, why does the streak really matter as much as people say it does? I'm not gonna say I didn't cry when it was broken, but at the end of the day, it was a plot device for the Undertaker and nothing more.

Still bringing up the streak in 2019 :MJ:

Fact is, Lesnar has been booked like a dominant champion ever since that.....anyone else who could've done that, are either retired or haven't amounted to shit.

Fantasy book all you want....it still doesn't negate the fact that it worked out for Lesnar.

For someone who does fantasy booking if I really have to answer that question I am gonna group you in with Deezy.
