The Miz vs Wade Barrett
That’s right, these two aren’t even worth the main show these days. I feel a little sorry for Barrett as he’s still a really talented guy and has just been fucked by awful gimmick changes, lol at MIz though. As for the match itself, well we all know it’s gonna be an absolute atrocity.
Tons of Funk vs Rhodes Scholars and the Bella Twins
Why is this shit on the main card? Cesaro doesn’t have a match yet this fuckery deserves a place on the WM card, ridiculous, utterly pointless match.
Jericho vs Fandango
You know what, despite the fact Jericho’s gonna be buried even further by a character that will probably be non-existent in a few months, I’m actually really pumped for this one. It just frustrates me that WWE will have no idea how to book this Fandango character in a few months. If they were to slowly transition it into the Johnny Curtis gimmick then it could end up being a massive success, but I just know that they’ll let it get stale to the point of no recovery, before turning him face in a desperation move. But anyway, kind of hard to comment on the match itself, but Curtis can work well from the little I’ve seen of him and Jericho is still different class – so looking forward to this one. Could steal the show.
Ziggy and Big E vs Hell No
Hopefully this means the long overdue breakup of D-Bry and Kane. It should have happened at EC, with them facing off at WM IMO.
Even though he should be waaaaayyy higher in the card, Ziggler will make the tag division interesting again
he had some great tag matches previously. The match should be great as long as Big E and Kane’s involvement is minimal. Should be another fun undercard match.
Ryback vs Mark Henry
Please WWE, for the love of god, make this match short. I know it’s not gonna make Henry look good, but the thought of ‘boring’ chants make me cringe. Obviously the only thing people really care about is whether Ryback can lift Henry or not, so hopefully WWE realise they don’t need to put 15 minutes of shit before that.
The Shield vs Superfriends
Well this is pretty much guaranteed to be a great match as the Shield are involved. There’s so many different ways this match can go and overall it’s probably the most unpredictable one of the night. Big Show could make the most uninteresting re-heel turn ever, Sheamus or Orton might mercifully turn heel, or, The Shield may completely implode. Of course WWE will just troll us all and make the Superfaces get a ‘feel good’ win.
Alberto Del Rio vs Jack Swagger
Think: Instead of this fued they could have given us ADR vs Ziggler which would have been 10x more exciting heading into WM -,-. Overall this fued has had the most underwhelming build up of them all IMO. They had written it really well for the first two weeks or so, then they just decided to go all lazy and have Swagger attack Ricardo. Yawn. They could have done something similar to JBL’s segment where he chases the Mexicans back over the border, just something creative could have made this fued great.
The match will probably be fantastic because of the two involved, so I guess I’m looking forward to this – just not as much as I previous was.
Triple H vs Brock Lesnar
We’ve all been saying this ever since we heard the rematch was happening: It will be a great brawl, but it’s such a pointless match. I really hope something good comes out of this like a HHH heel turn, because ‘H going over clean is just so incredibly redundant. Still, getting to see Brock wrestle at all is awesome I guess, so it’s worth watching.
CM Punk vs The Undertaker
I could honestly see this match being let down of the night. Apparently Punk and Taker’s previous matches were pretty disappointing, and this was when Taker was in his prime. Punk is a lot better in-ring as a face worker IMO, thinking back the only REALLY good matches he’s worked as a heel were against Cena – athough I guess he’s face shit in-ring workers a lot of the time. Not really sure how Taker will perform, as not only has he barely wrestled in two years, but he’s also pretty unfit due to his injury from what I hear.
John Cena vs The Rock
I really wish the WWE crowd had the balls to just completely shit on this match. It just epitomises all that is wrong with the WWE at the moment. A pointless SuperCena Rumble win and a WM victory over a guy who could be put to much better use putting over a younger guy. The match will be utter trash, The Rock can’t work for shit these days and Cena isn’t the kind of person who can really carry a guy. So I fully expect a complete flop of an ME to be honest due to ridiculously lazy booking.
