The Yanks always have the greatest players, but they can't play as a team, and individual talent will only take you so far. I could probably say the Rangers will win the West becaues the Angels have lost tons of people, and the Rangers have improved in the pitching department over the winter. The Rays might win the Wild Card tbh.

The Yankees will play the Phillies in the World Series and beat them.
They will definitely be one of those "unstoppable" teams this year, sadly.
They've got the best bullpen in the MLB right now.

They will win the AL East. I cannot see Tampa or Boston winning it.
Hell, I don't even see Boston making the Playoffs.

baseball is barely a team sport. everyone on the team could hate eachother but if they put up the stats that their players do, it wont make a difference. they have been winning championships that way for a century.

and ya the rangers have a chance but the angels still have one of the best pitching rotations in baseball and they got a decent offense. they need to get a big hitter like manny or someone to make a run in the playoffs but they are still a playoff team imo.

and gamebreaker, if u werent a rays fan u would think that boston would win the wildcard. rays got a chance but has a better pitching staff and better offense so really boston will probably make it.

Tampa Bay has great pitching. You might not've heard of these guys, but they can really get the job done.
Kazmir.
Garza.
Price.
Sonnanstine.
Shields.

Boston's guys are:
Beckett.
Matsuzaka.
Smoltz.
Lester.
Wakefield.
Papelbon.
Masterson....
Okajima........uhhh.....
I just realized Boston's pitching beats Tampa's.
But all I know is, it's gonna be a race this year in the AL East, even for Wildcard.

i know kazmir and garza are pretty good

and ur forgetting that boston picked up brad penny and Takashi Saito and both of them are really good. penny started the all star game a few years ago and saito is one of the best set up pitchers in the game imo.

but ya the rays probably wont be blown out of the race but i think boston will get the wildcard and the yankees will definitely win the division imo.

Rangers are now 1-1 in Spring Training, and it looks to me like Taylor Teagarden will be the starting catcher. Hamilton has homered in both games, and Kinsler looks great. The Rangers have given up 14 runs in 2 games though :(

Damn A-Rod at least now USA won't have to face him in the World Baseball Classic.
