The Yankees don't have relief pitching and that will hurt them in the long run. Last night the Yankees pitched like 3 or 4 relief guys, none of which I've ever heard of. IDK why they didn't pitch Rivera when the bases were loaded when a proven clutch hitter in Byrd came up to bat. If I was a Yankees fan, I'd blame that loss on a young manager.

^EXACTLY!!! See thats what pissed me off 100% in last nights game.... they have no bullpen pitchers imo.. and now with Joba apparently hurt, they are kinda fucked

I'll be saving these posts by MikeRaw so I can laugh @ his expense when the Yankees don't acquire either one of them.

^If they don't Ill laugh at myself. But I'm yet to see an argument as to why they would't get at least one.

lmfao... I would have to agree Peep, I dont think they need Texiera nor Sabathia... they need like a K-Rod or a Marmol/Howry type (if your a cubs fan, youd know)

I know I was kinda kidding... who else is a decent relief guy, I do like Samardijza though

They dont need Texiera or Sabathia? They could certainly use them... Giambi is like 67 years old, and will be gone, so he could replace him. And Sabathia would just ensure the pitching, because he's sorta young, and would fit well.
So if you think they won't get them, I understand, but I don't get how you can say they don't need them.

ok they would need a first baseman cause imo Giambi is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy past his steriod prime... going to a newly traded Texiera is not such a good idea... I'd kinda like to see Paul Konerko as a Yankee (though that'd never happen) or maybe Carlos Delgado, Texiera is a slight maybe, due to the fact that he was JUST traded to the Angels, and look how good the Angels are doing, he is bringing fire to that team, and taking them to the playoffs, watch and see

Never said they didn't need him. I understand you want him to go there, but going about it by doing what you are doing and saying that just b/c you want him there is kind of hilarious.
