Until Lethal actually posts again - I don't think I can really push either of the three soft theories. I don't think it help when in the original Jeff vs. Lethal exchange - both feel aggrieved and both feel the other was the instigator. My viewpoint on the situation will be looked at again - once I see more content.

There's plenty of content already for a push to be made. This seems like stalling.

Also Day 1 lasts 54 hours - so until the activity of someone of the most quiet players pick up - I don't think looking for scum out of the nosiest or most active is always wise. I do however think, at least one person who has last posts than Smark with 100% flip mafia:

CK, John Henry, Shade, Baldrick, Wang, Phenom or Pendex

Throwing names at the wall and seeing what sticks. Interesting.

I'm happy to have some scrutiny my way. I do agree there is a strong chance of mafia hiding especially in this early going. I'm NGL, I've been a bit distracted due to some health issues. But I'm not going to read too much into what equates to one long drawn out argument. I took Sky's vote as a shitpost joke, it's day one and these things happen. It seems to have really been blown out of proportion in my eyes.

I think it's fairly implicit that the vote was random, dressed up with a shade of reasoning because... it's essentially random. Whether you dislike the random voting stage or not, attacking the reasoning of the vote when it's obviously not made based on anything strong doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

I had no problem with the vote - I had a problem with the reasoning. I will maintain it was a nonsense reason.

I find it somewhat interesting that you see this as "white knighting", because you kind of remove the possibility that there is scum motivation at play. I was reading it as potentially scum wanting to look good defending a townie (not a lean really, it just plausible in my mind) so for you to just work right past that angle and into it being personally motivated strikes me as... odd. Perhaps even TMI indicative.

So it's potentially TMI indicative that I called Jeff a white knight rather than suss him as having wolf motivation there....but you're saying it's to defend a townie which in itself can be TMI indicative. You've spun yourself into a contradiction here pal.

What is the functional difference between someone who's made zero posts and someone who's made one post to check in and done nothing else (as some on your list have)?

Zero post = inactive or doesn't realize the game has started.

Check in post of even just one - doesn't clear that person from having interacted in the mafia chat. Person/s might only have had time to have a quick pow wow in mafia chat and then make an activity post.

An uneaten sandwich is very different from a sandwich that has never been made at all.

Person with 0 votes could have checked in wolf chat and skipped entering the game thread.

I just don’t find it plausible that someone who typically bombs the thread with posts doesn’t know the game started. I’m not pulling the trigger on voting you, but I’m definitely making a note of you saying scum is hiding in inactivity while defending Ekko not posting.

You selectively avoided one player based on your criteria. I think the queries make perfect sense.

Also none of my theories so far - are really game changing or even game winning at this point in time. Everything is a potential at the moment - but in theory just by number I do think at least one of the inactivates will potentially flip mafia.

Again, selecting 1 scum from a pool of 7 is a decent chance to get a wolf amongst that for sure. It's a flawed theory but not worth much more consideration.

All good. I said earlier that I have a town lean on lethal. Think he was too aggressive early to be scum, but then some of your comments felt like you were making a case there.
