I literally just posted this on Facebook(was in the right mindset):

I work a dead end job, have no real education other than my High School, I pretty much have no social life other than at work(And a few people I rarely get to hang out with, but are still awesome people), I was forced to leave a great full time job in Ottawa because a roommate screwed me over for hundreds of dollars, I'm still a virgin(don't care what people think). I still live with my mother(which I don't mind, she's freaking awesome, but I don't want to live with her) I pretty much live on the internet where I am more than likely ridiculed. I don't have a car, let alone my driver's license. Some of the people I talk to the most are people I've met on the internet(never met in real life, but have some of them on Facebook, chill dudes!) I'm overweight, my body is in rough shape due to being overweight and lack any motivation to really do anything about it(my fault I know). Would I change any of it? Other than the overweight thing, no. I wouldn't. Most of these are experiences that have helped me become who I am. A few of them have helped me understand that there is no need to be negative. Being negative would only prove one thing, that there is a rock bottom. I don't plan on hitting that rock bottom.

So what am I going to do to better my life now? I'm going to get an education so I can get a better job that hopefully pays well so I can save up enough money to not only put a down payment on a house but to be able to do some fun things. I'm going to go out and meet new people, I'm going to go to parties(if invited). I'm going to find myself a good woman(and not just for the sex, although that's a bonus ;) ). I'm going to drop all this weight, and how? Well I actually plan to start a YouTube channel to not only keep track of my progress, but to let all those hateful people that prowl the internet be my motivation just to prove them wrong. I'm going to get my license, buy a car(not a fancy car, but a good car that can get me from point a to point b). And then I'm going to live my life, hopefully get married, have a kid(maybe more than one! But not too many, I ain't no Octomom!) and I'm going to be happy! So that's pretty much my New Years Resolution. Fuck anybody that tries to hate on me. In my opinion if you hate on me for my success, I'm winning! I'm a man on a mission baby! Get in my way, you best be prepared to have a mudhole stomped in your ass! Cause ain't nothing going to stop me!

You got any?

Finally try out Crossfit
Get my 2 mile run time down to 13:45
Get my ruck march time to decrease, while increasing weight every single time I go rucking.

Good luck to all of those, my friend. We aren't that far off from each other. I'm not sure of you age, but in 2013 I will graduate high school. I currently do not have plans for a higher education, I have no drivers licence, and my social life is practically dead. My best friend moved away, and I've been alone for the most part except for my girlfriend of 2 years. I also struggle with being over weight. I am no obese, but I could lose some pounds. I was doing pretty good for a while, but I went through a tough patch towards the end of this year with domestic abuse in my family, and I've gained almost 30 pounds back, and lost most of my muscle that I had when I was wrestling. I am a big fan of your Youtube plan. Please give me a link to your page when you start it up so I can follow you. May just have to copy you're idea there man ;)

My plans for 2013 is to Graduate with honors, get a job, my drivers licence, and look into a college. My girlfriend still has one more year of school to complete, so I'm staying here for that. I also look to drastically change my image. My weight, attitude, and outlook on life. I'm enrolled in a gym that starts second week of January to get this weight back off, and get back into my athletic shape. I'm going to completely change my room and start saving up money to move out, and get a place with my girl after she graduates.

I have big plans for 2013, and with it being the year I get "free" as some may see it, I think it may just be the biggest year of my life.

I am 22. And I know how you feel about the best friend thing man. My best friend since the first grade moved to Vancouver, I live in Ottawa. And yeah, that whole thing you just read, took about 2 years to write.

I've never really made New Years Resolutions because for the most part a lot of them fail. More specifically people who try and lose weight. The thing is, there is no need to wait for the new year. People get discouraged after awhile and quit and feel like they can start up next year. Originally my resolution was to start being more productive but I said screw it and started in October and I've gotten a shit ton of stuff done. While I can't fault anyone for having the motivation to start bettering their life, my only advice is don't wait and look for others trying to accomplish the same type of goal so you can motivate each other. Tell all the people you want what your goal is also so you actually get a feel of sensibility. Hope all goes well with yours.

I'm not exactly waiting, but I am planning on starting next year for sure. It's Christmas, good food and shit man. 8D

I always take 2 weeks off from the gym after New Year's. The "Resolutionaries" go in there for a few weeks then give up because they can't get Greg Plitt's body, after loafing around on their cell phones, and doing a set or two of 6 reps on the easy, no impact machines. A few will stick it out and make it, but probably 90% won't come back that third or fourth monday.

You want to make the resolution come true? Beat the fuckin' shit out of that body and suffer for it. It's the only way.

New Years Resolutions? I never really did these but this year I have a couple. The one that's the most important to me is stop smoking. I'm a huge asshole. Since this summer I'm going to the gym three times a week, the other two days I work out at home and I have a strict diet and I'm trying to live a healthy life. I'm a little little over weight so I have to work out a lot to get my body look like how it did before I had a leg surgery. I was at home recovering for like half a year. I was sitting at home during both autumn and fall so I gained 12 kilograms. During summer some of it went down as I spent the entire summer playing basketball, working out and stuff. Now I have to lose some weight and work on my body to get it a better look. So yeah, I'm doing all of this. There were times when I said to myself "fuck school" and I picked gym over studying. Yes, all of this but I still smoke. Aren't I an asshole? Yep, I am. So the first thing I do in the new year is I will stop smoking and be healthier. Other than that I don't have any resolutions. Maybe get rid of my GF. What a bitch. A tipical modern day "duck". Honestly...I don't even know why I'm still with her.

My New Year's Revolution is to watch WWE Main Event every week. Too many good wrestling matches happen on it.

That is it. Good luck with your gym stuff.

I never make resolutions, but this is SO FREAKIN' TRUE. The gym is the most hilarious place to be in January because of the people that come in and do literally nothing. Good entertainment, you aren't gonna' get a workout in though.
