New Tag Team, Los Matadores

This promo ran on RAW promoting a new tag team called Los Matadores who are obviously a repackaged Primo & Epico. Good to see them trying something new to get themselves over since what they were currently doing wasn't getting them anywhere. That promo doesn't give me much hope but I will see what happens after they debut and see what they can do with the gimmick. When I first heard of it my initial reaction was that they should have brought back Los Conquistadores.

Your thoughts on this matador gimmick? Can they make this gimmick into something interesting and entertaining?

It's going to be hard to link Olé with anyone else. Tbh I don't know what to expect because they took the good part away from Primo & Epico with this new gimmick, no more Rosa dancing at ringside

Sucks Rosa probably won't be with these guys.

I love Epico & Primo a lot, the both have always impressed me as a tag team. So as long as they're both on TV, I'm happy.

It looks like a bit of a comedy routine from that vignette but hopefully it has a bit of a harder edge to it. Nothing wrong with a comedy tag team like Tons of Funk but I would rather it end up like Fandango which looked like it would be comedy but actually turned out relatively serious. It will be nice to see some more masked characters on the show.

Doesn't Rosa have quite a few other issues in her life that she has to deal with right now? Is she even back on the road again?

Rosa probably won't be back for a while.

But Epico & Primo, could see this being heel/face as well. Could go any direction, I just hope it is successful and it works.

It is a promising sign for the tag team division that after all the tag teams currently on the show they are adding another back into the fold. Hopefully it works for them because they are good at what they do. They needed a change though after being buried for most of this year. Will see what happens with the promos in the coming weeks to see what direction this could go.

Well it hasn't debuted yet so it is impossible to say how long it can last since we don't even really know what it is. Hopefully we see another promo for this on Smackdown and RAW next week to give more of an insight into what this actually entails. Will have to see how they present it when they actually wrestle and if they alter their moveset as well.

I could live with my friends calling The Shield a 3-Man Boss Man, but now they have a 2-Man Santana.

No problem with gimmicks making a comeback, but something fresh & new would be nice.

Never cared for either guy and I doubt this new gimmick will get me interested in them.

Is a repackage will necessary either? Judging by WWE's track record with tag teams as of late they'll push them into the Tag Team title scene, possibly win then lose the belts, and eventually stopped being used altogether. The Shield are pretty much the only tag team sticking around week by week, everyone else pops up every so often with no momentum behind them.

Meh i'll give it a chance and see what happens but Rosa not being with him doesn't make the slightest bit of difference to them, she offered absolutely nothing to them. Like I mentioned in the other thread though, Ricardo should have been paired with these guys.
