On RAW Vince McMahon made his decision and made AJ the RAW GM. It was a decision that no-one predicted and has divided opinion so far. She has been the most over diva for the last few months thanks to this love triangle storyline with Daniel Bryan and CM Punk and so WWE have taken advantage of that popularity.

What do you think of AJ as GM? How long do you think she will last as GM?

Okay, a lot of people are bashing this, but I'm not going to for now. AJ has not given me any reason to believe she can't pull this off as of yet, so until she does I won't say anything had about this decision. It was definitely a shocker at the time, and honestly probably the best possible scenario to end all that wedding nonsense

As for how long it'll last, I'll give her the Rumble, not any longer.

I'm excited for this cause AJ is awesome and if she is able to keep character it can make for what should be interesting matchups. So I'm all game for this... plus AJ is hot and I like her :p

So I say lets see what she can do... but chances are is that by the time Survivor Series comes around they are going to make her completely normal and make her pretty much give up her character and we'll be subjected to the same crap we always have had and then things will just suck again.

This is a good way of getting Daniel Bryan something to do, seeing as he isn't doing anything at the moment.

I posted my thoughts in some other thread but I don't really like it and was massively underwhelmed with the choice. Sure their is some logical angles they can go with Bryan/Punk/Kane/Eve/Vickie but I honestly couldn't have been less enthused about the choice. I was really expecting them to pull a big name out of their ass like Flair who I was hoping for, but no.

I'll give it a chance, but i'm going to need convincing.

I was surprised when I heard it. That is about it. It just caught me off guard. It can work but I'm sure it won't or at least on my end as I'm sure the internet fans around me will have already turned on her. I really don't see it lasting long either as WWE just moves too quickly that if this goes longer than 2-3 months I'll eat my hat.

I'll reserve my judgement for now, but the decision seems rather short-sighted. If it gives Daniel Bryan something to do, fine. But I hope she wasn't just chosen for a "torment Daniel Bryan" angle. After that, AJ being the boss will probably get too silly.

Well first of all the whole AJ/Bryan thing needs to be finished now, it has been a good story but it is time to move on and it is better for each that they move on, don't want the GM just to be clashing with one wrestler.

This is a bold move by WWE and it could be a big step forward for women in wrestling again, but this being WWE they may well mess it up. Lets wait and see but I am excited right now.

As I said in my Raw 1000th review, I won't start bashing it right away until I see how WWE handles this angle, but I definitely don't have high hopes for it. I would really like to know what was going through Vince's head to make him appoint a "crazy chick" as GM... seems like the last type of person you would want for such a responsibility. Obviously WWE doesn't always have logic in mind when they set up these types of angles, but it seems pretty silly at the moment.

Personally I would prefer a full-on heel GM because they produce the types of anti-authority figures out of the wrestlers that we all come to love. I'm sure a lot of people like the type of GM that Teddy Long was, but I really don't think babyface GM's are Monday Night Raw's thing.

If she can be a real bitch like Stephanie McMahon than I am all for it, if not... Then it'd be considered a flop. But I will wait and see how it all progresses

I actually think I would like AJ more if I wasn't trying to compare her to Stephanie and how awesome she was. I would probably be let down pretty quickly if I did that.

K... I've seen enough.

Already getting sick of hearing her talk like the Joker, smacking her lips after every other sentence. I really don't think her mic ability is where it needs to be for such a vocally-driven role.

She at least looks the part, but that's not enough. I really doubt I'm going to enjoy her run as GM.
