New RAW GM - AJ

I too thought that AJ looked hot as hell in her suit. But I really think that she is just going to be a transitional GM for a bigger name like Flair or somebody else.

Thing is from what I saw of raw this week WWE didn't give her a chance to really shine as GM. To me it would have made sense to have how cut a promo (only about five minutes) to layout her intentions as GM. It is key to mark AJ out as a GM who is going to take raw in a different direction not just someone who books run of the mill number one contender matches.

She goes a bit overboard with the facial expressions I think, too much head bobbing around, and the pauses are a bit unnecessary. Aside from that, she did passable I guess, nothing really memorable other than having Bryan taken away for a psychiatric evaluation. I'll be among those waiting for several more instances before shooting this down as a complete flop of an idea, although admittedly I was underwhelmed when they made the announcement also. It's understandable why they didn't choose Flair, Regal's already been GM, Bret Hart's already been GM, Mick Foley's already been GM, so who do they pick? I've seen thousands of suggestions in various locations. Personally I think Jim Ross as the general manager might be worth exploring.

There is so much wrong with your argument it is untrue.

1. H and Taker are far more over than Steph have ever been and have been long standing memebers of the roster.

2. AJ has been really over in recent weeks and you and maybe a couple of others seem to be only ones who are dumping on her promos.

3. The only reason Steph got a big pop on raw 1000 is because of the novity factor of seeing her for the first time in ages doesn't mean it would last. Fans got bored of Mcmahon overkill about ten years ago besides the odd appearance I for one think they should stay off screen.

4. Shouldn't people give AJ a chance as GM before writing her off its only been one week for gods sakes!

What does that have to do with anything? You're the one that said "it isn't 1999 anymore" and that Vince should be a commentator again. I simply argued that I would not get tired of Stephanie McMahon because she has excellent mic skills which AJ Lee does not have. I have never gotten tired of her and I don't think there is anything wrong with her coming back as GM if that was ever the case.

I just brought up Triple H and Taker up because you brought up how it wasn't 1999 anymore. I found that irrelevant. I am aware that Triple H and Taker are bigger draws, obviously but just because I am more impressed with past divas does not make my opinion invalid.

I am giving AJ a chance. I'm just not impressed with her.....yet.

I thought there was an improvement in her promos this week it will take awhile to adjust to that kind of role. Important thing is fans like her.
