Bynum did.

I'm still not worried though as I saw this song and dance in 02 and the last 2 months of last season.

You've seen it before, but Kobe looks old man. Its a problem, a serious problem. No matter how much you want to deny it, Kobe is at the end of his run.

I'll save him the trouble:

No, Kobe's not in decline. There's no reason for Kobe to be in decline.

[200 lines of Kobe's career stats that have nothing to do with the matter]

Re: NBA Regular Season Discussion Thread

Sal preached that same shit last year and ate the crow come June and the playoffs. He will do it again as he and you seemingly think titles are won in December and not June, and doubt the guy, coach, and franchise to win the most in the last decade.

He went through a series of like 5 straight teen shooting games before that and it was no different. If you cite 27 shots from reading boxscores, you should also be able to say why he took 27 shots. 9 of them came against the clock on bail outs, and Pau kept throwing the ball out of the post which has happened a lot lately and is why Phil called him "soft, indecisive, and lack a base" two days ago.

I know titles are won in December not June, but I have never remembered the Lakers playing this bad 3 in a long ass time, and those were the years they didn't make the playoffs.

Did you even watch the game? He left the third quarter down 6 and came back down 14 in the fourth.

They won the title because of Gasol. Gasol dominated that series. Not Kobe. Kobe wasn't clutch at all, he did all he could to lose game 7. Here's what PSYCH will read from this paragraph:

KOBE

CLUTCH

GAME 7

The 02 Lakers once went 4-6 in a month in 02.

The Lakers just last year ended the season 4-7.

Before these recent 3 losses, LA has just won 8 out of their last 10 games

Re: NBA Regular Season Discussion Thread

Legler made a good point about Kobe taking games over, saying that when he was younger he'd drive to the basket with ease and get the shot and/or get fouled. Now, he doesn't have the same explosiveness and he's forced to take more contested jumpers, leading to more inefficiency.
