JR Smiths dunk against the spurs is my dunk of the year so far.

Re: NBA Regular Season Discussion Thread

Baller said Lebron is the best dunker in the league, when really that isn't saying much since he has no creativity or body control while in the air in comparison to the guys a generation before him in Mac, Kobe, VC, and J-Rich. Reid said he hadn't seen 1 handed alley oops. Sal said he hadn't seen a dunk like that second one of Blake's but I've seen Kobe during the fro days, Eddie Jones, Kemp, Shaq before the weight, and VC in Toronto do it. I've seen them jump over and through people many more times than Blake has. I've also seen him gush about the athletic ability, but Dice had just as much if not more which some of you seem to have forgotten due to short term memory.

Blake's just a Japanese generic reproduction of DWIGHT.

Re: NBA Regular Season Discussion Thread

Since we are talking about dunkers, lets look at real artists which Blake, Wade, and Lebron can't be classified as yet because they can't make dunking an artform.

They were showmen and Blake has a way to go before he learns how to join that class. I will say that he is closer than anyone currently in the league besides JR Smith though who is a freak athlete.

Re: NBA Regular Season Discussion Thread

Why everytime Blake gets praise for his dunking u start bringing up all these guys. Not like anyone said the man is the greatest dunker of all time or anything.

Who gives a fuck about dunking? It's still only worth 2 points, no matter how flashy it is.

His panties get in a bunch, we simply have a talk about best dunker this year and then we randomly get criticized for "saying" he is one of the best of all time. :)

Re: NBA Regular Season Discussion Thread

And I said that one dunk was unlike anything I'd seen before. That just riles him up to no end. It's a great way to get him to post 50 youtube videos of dunk compilations without referring to a single dunk in any of them.

Re: NBA Regular Season Discussion Thread

Kobe's was the closest. But he didn't run the break himself, and he didn't jump halfway out of the fucking building. That's the play of the year.

The rest of those must have been frail attempts at humor.
