Re: NBA Regular Season Discussion Thread

Rip Hamilton was better than Vince Carter in their primes as winning and competing does matter. The Rip trade made the Pistons a contending team even before the Sheed deal and he helped them get to multiple ECFs time and time again. VC admitting that he quit and had checked out on the Raptors long before being traded, doesn't help his case for being certainly because it shows the difference between the two.

Hey, A Kobe L 4 X-mas, what were you saying about Wade and LeBron being good one on one defenders just a minute ago?

I love how you base one play on being bad perimeter defenders. I never said they were great I said they were above average which they are.

They are going to suffer worse without moving on from him, by just constantly plugging in guys around him. They will waste more years with him tying up their cap and not being bad enough to get lotto picks and not good enough to be a competitive playoff team. If you deal him for Billups for example, you can out right get rid of him and Carter next year since their deals aren't fully guaranteed. Then you can simply rebuild right then and there.

One Play?

Nick Young and Josh Howard have fucked over them so far this game. Rush and Granger did it earlier this year. Pierce and Melo have taken a shit on Lebron one on one in the past multiple times; Lewis and Hedo did it to the point he was hid on Rafer who also went off on him and then placed on Lee. Kobe and Manu have done the same to Wade.

They are team defensive players just like AI and Chris Paul were because they don't know how to really get after a guy one on one and say "I'm locking your ass up". They need work on that end which is why I still don't get you taking a shot at Orlando's perimeter players defensive capabilities.

 The Heat just tied the game. Flip Saunders should be fired for not using a timeout

Hinrich just choked and was an epic fail for not giving Young the fucking ball. I mean, what the fuck was he thinking when Young and Howard were both there, hot, and open?

He got to the rim, can't blame him for that. Joel Anthony played great D to stop the break. Flip should be given his walking paper on his way to the locker room

He got to the rim, but in all honesty you should go to the hot hand in the open floor when they are open. Young was open and had been stroking it all night

I don't believe young was open on that play, D-Wade was denying him pretty good if I remember correctly.
