Re: NBA Regular Season Discussion Thread

Marcin's been playing poorly all year, so his stock may have been down, prompting the addition of the 1st. I really feel bad for Lew, though. Vince and everyone else goes to Phoenix while Lew goes to Washington by himself.

I'm glad Nick Young will get the chance to start at SG in Washington as he has played well this year.

Should be interesting to see who Otis goes after, seeing as he is looking for a big to replace Gortat.

Re: NBA Regular Season Discussion Thread

If I was taking a guess it would be Camby since his deal is mostly incentive based and Portland could blow things up soon. I forget how much Q and Duhon make now but something based around them with Clark or Anderson might work.

If they want to go the cheap route, they could always call up the Bulls and sell a pick and cash for Kurt Thomas to give them 10 minutes a night or so like he did for Bogut.

Camby & Dwight would be amazing. They'd definitely have the LENGTH to compete w/ Boston and the Lakers.

I'd be happy for Camby.

The outside reach is getting on the phone and talking Sheed into coming out of retirement since he still hasn't turned in his papers

I really don't know what to think of Orlando's team now. They needed more defense... They got worse. If Dwight ever gets in foul trouble they got no backup center. They have a major logjam at the guard spots.

Can Dwight leave after this season?

Re: NBA Regular Season Discussion Thread

I wouldn't say that they got worse overall.

Their perimeter rotation improved because Rashard Lewis sucked ass without the roids to improve his recovery time and help his body heal after games, VC was just a pussy outright and there is nothing that J-Rich doesn't do better, and Turk essentially makes it so that Q-Rich and Duhon won't see the court (what a waste of the MLE when you look back on the fact Barnes and Williams were better than them last year).

Yeah they need a backup big behind Bass and Dwight, but they can pass Ryan Anderson off in the meanwhile for 15-20 minutes a night with one of those 2 always on the court.

----
Nash's reaction to J-Rich being traded via twiiter:
Everyone wish @jrich23 the best in Orlando. Great player and great teammate! He will be missed. Damn.

I feel like they got better talent wise, but didn't fill their biggest need which was perimeter defense.

He's not going to Miami, if that's what you're trying to get at.
