Barry Clock-Tower's Post-Race Thoughts After Winning at Lucas Oil Raceway
After securing his first career ARCA Menards Series victory at Lucas Oil Raceway, Barry Clock-Tower was all smiles as he stepped out of his No. 15 Viking Ford for Venturini Motorsports. The young driver delivered a dominant performance, fending off late-race challenges to take the checkered flag.

Barry Clock-Tower on his first ARCA win:
*"Man, this is unreal! I've dreamed of this moment for a long time, and to finally make it happen with this Viking Ford and Venturini Motorsports, it's just incredible. We’ve been close a few times this season, but tonight everything came together. The car was fast, the team made great calls, and I just had to do my job behind the wheel.

Lucas Oil Raceway is such a tough place—you’ve got to hit your marks every lap, and I knew those last 20 laps were gonna be a fight. We had pressure from behind, but I wasn’t gonna let this one slip away. Huge thanks to my crew, my spotter, and everyone who’s been in my corner this year. This win means everything, but now that we’ve got one, I want more!"*

Clock-Tower's victory marks a milestone moment in his ARCA career, proving that he can compete with the best and potentially set himself up for bigger opportunities in the future.

* * * *

Shortly after Barry Clock-Tower’s first career ARCA Menards Series victory at Lucas Oil Raceway, Venturini Motorsports made a major announcement regarding the future of its young talent.

Team officials confirmed multi-year contracts for Barry Clock-Tower and JF Valley, securing both drivers as part of Venturini’s long-term vision. In addition, the team revealed that they have successfully secured three full-time entries in the 2022 NASCAR Truck Series, marking a significant expansion of their national presence.

Team Statement – Venturini Motorsports
*"Barry and JF have shown incredible talent and determination throughout this season. We believe in their ability to compete at the highest levels of stock car racing, and securing them for the future was a top priority for us. Their dedication aligns with our mission of developing the next generation of NASCAR stars.

Additionally, with the growth of our program, we’re excited to confirm that Venturini Motorsports will field three full-time trucks in the 2022 NASCAR Truck Series. This move gives our drivers a clear path to continue progressing through the ranks while representing our team at the highest level."

Barry Clock-Tower on His Multi-Year Contract:
"This is the kind of opportunity every young driver dreams of! Venturini Motorsports believed in me from the start, and I’m thrilled to be sticking with them for the future. Getting my first ARCA win tonight is amazing, and knowing I’ll have a path forward with this team makes it even sweeter. I can’t wait to see what’s next—whether it’s more ARCA wins or making the move to the Truck Series down the road!"

JF Valley’s Thoughts on the Deal:
"After returning to ARCA this season, I knew I wanted to be part of something bigger, and Venturini Motorsports is exactly that. Signing a multi-year deal and being part of the team’s future in the NASCAR Truck Series is a massive opportunity. I’m ready to keep proving myself on the track and take on the next challenge when the time comes."

What’s Next?
With both drivers locked in for the future, Venturini Motorsports now turns its attention to finishing the 2020 ARCA season strong while preparing for their NASCAR Truck Series debut in 2022. The question now isn’t whether Clock-Tower and Valley will make it to the NASCAR national series—it’s when.

“Yea, I heard him say he wasn’t going to apologize. That’s fine. I don’t want him to. But I’ve raced him clean all damn year, and he wants to do it that way. That’s fine. There’s plenty of season left. And NASCAR can fine me or whatever for saying that. When you race people like that, they’re gonna race you like that. I hope his spotter is ready to keep an eye out for the Jack Daniels Chevrolet cause I’m coming for his ass.”

Lap 15
- A caution comes out as Tyler Ankrum (#26) spins after a tight racing incident with Arthur D'Tea (#8), forcing both to the back of the pack. This incident sets the stage for some intense restarts as drivers prepare for a chaotic next few laps.

Lap 20
-The restart sees Bobby Rey hold onto his lead, but Logan Slayer makes a strong move, challenging Rey for the lead. Meanwhile, Zane Smith (#51) starts to show some speed, moving up the field after being caught in the middle of the pack earlier.

Laps 25-45
- As the stage progresses, Bobby Rey manages to fend off Logan Slayer and Juice Millar, holding onto the lead despite constant pressure from the two. Ben Rhodes (#99) also finds his rhythm, charging into the top 5. The field is aggressive as the race intensifies, with drivers jockeying for position.

Stage Two Recap

Laps 46-65

- The second stage starts with Bobby Rey maintaining his position at the front, but Logan Slayer and Juice Millar are relentless in their pursuit. Tommy Bedlam (#77) makes a move toward the front after starting in the middle of the pack. The stage is filled with tight racing, but also a few incidents that shake up the field.

Lap 70
- Brett Moffitt (#23) makes an aggressive move, diving to the inside of Brandon Blaze (#83), but the two make contact, causing a brief moment of chaos. Fortunately, both drivers manage to keep it clean, but the tension is rising as we approach the midway point of the stage.

Blaze’s truck suffers significant damage, and he is forced to retire from the race. Bedlam is in control of his emotions now, but the damage was done. Bobby Rey holds onto the lead.

Laps 80-90
- After the incident between Blaze and Bedlam, the race intensifies. Bobby Rey continues to lead, with Logan Slayer and Zane Smith keeping him honest. Juice Millar and Sheldon Creed are fighting for position just outside the top 5.

Stage Three Recap

- With Brandon Blaze and Tommy Bedlam both officially out of the race after their altercation, the field was down to 22 drivers for the final stage of the race at Kentucky Speedway. Both Blaze and Bedlam's trucks were forced into the garage following the physical confrontation and subsequent penalties. The air was tense as the remaining drivers lined up for what promised to be an action-packed final 60 laps.

Laps 91-100
- As the green flag waved for the final stage, Zane Smith took full advantage of the fresh restart, getting a strong launch off the line and taking the lead. Juice Millar and Brett Moffitt followed close behind, with Arthur D'Tea making moves early to position himself inside the top 5. Meanwhile, Logan Slayer, still trying to rebound after a tough Stage 2, fought hard to move up the ranks.

- At the lap 95 mark, there was a close call when Bobby Rey almost collided with Sheldon Creed as both drivers battled for track position. The near miss was enough to shake things up, but both drivers kept it clean and continued racing hard.

Laps 101-110
- By lap 105, Zane Smith had established a commanding lead, but it wasn’t smooth sailing for him. Juice Millar, with his trademark short-track expertise, was slowly closing in, managing to hold off the hard-charging Sheldon Creed, who was putting the pressure on every lap.

- The first caution of the final stage came out on lap 110, as Chris Southern spun out after a bump from Ben Rhodes, who was trying to make an aggressive move for position. Both drivers managed to avoid major damage, but it did bunch the field back together.

Laps 111-120
- With the restart on lap 115, Zane Smith maintained his lead but had to fend off a fierce challenge from Arthur D'Tea, who was gaining momentum on the high side. Brett Moffitt, always a threat at intermediate tracks, also began to close in on the top 3 as the race wore on.

- As the race approached the final 30 laps, the intensity only grew. Drivers began to make more aggressive moves, and pit strategies started to come into play, with some teams opting for an early pit stop to gain track position.

Laps 121-140
- The closing laps of the race saw several drivers swapping positions in the top 5, but Zane Smith remained unshaken at the front. A late caution on lap 135 caused another wave of pit stops, and it was clear that fuel management would become a critical factor in determining the winner.

- With just 15 laps to go, Zane Smith had built up enough of a gap to maintain the lead, while Arthur D'Tea and Brett Moffitt fought for second place. However, Smith made no mistakes, keeping his truck under control and navigating through traffic with ease.

Final Laps
- As the race neared its conclusion, Zane Smith held off any final challenges, ultimately securing his first win of the season. Arthur D'Tea finished in second, continuing his strong road course performance from earlier in the season, and Brett Moffitt rounded out the top 3 with a hard-fought performance.

- The final laps were a demonstration of calm, cool driving under pressure, and Zane Smith showed why he’s one of the strongest contenders for the playoffs. Zane Smith won at Kentucky Speedway with a well-executed race that proved he’s ready for the battles that lay ahead in the remaining races of the regular season.

MXApZmv.png

Zane Smith’s victory at Kentucky Speedway was a defining moment in his Truck Series career, securing his spot in the upcoming playoffs with his first win of the season. The victory came at the perfect time, as it helped Zane lock in his playoff berth and marked the eighth win of the season by a different driver.

His performance at Kentucky showcased the power of both his driving skills and the exceptional teamwork at ThorSport Racing. The team has long been known for providing competitive trucks, and this win is a testament to their strong partnership with Zane. Throughout the race, Zane kept a calm head under pressure, working with his crew to make the right adjustments at the right time. Despite a challenging field filled with heavy hitters, Zane showed poise and determination, avoiding major incidents and staying consistent through the final stages.

In his post-race interview, Zane was quick to credit his team for their hard work and support:

"I’m just incredibly thankful for everyone at ThorSport Racing. We’ve been working really hard all season, and it’s moments like this that make it all worth it. The team gave me a truck that was so strong today, and I couldn’t have done it without them. This win is just as much theirs as it is mine. It feels amazing to lock in a spot in the playoffs, but we know there’s still a lot more to fight for."

Zane’s win adds another chapter to ThorSport Racing’s impressive season and serves as a reminder of why they are one of the top teams in the Truck Series. With only two playoff spots left, the team is now in a strong position to contend for a championship, and Zane’s victory gives them a major confidence boost heading into the final stretch of the regular season.

As the series moves forward, Zane’s spot in the playoffs is now secure, but the fight for the remaining positions will be fierce. With other talented drivers like Sheldon Creed, Ben Rhodes, and Tyler Ankrum vying for their own playoff spots, the competition will undoubtedly intensify. However, with the backing of ThorSport Racing, Zane Smith is poised to make a strong run at the title.

Post-Race Breakdown
After Brandon Blaze and Tommy Bedlam were involved in a heated incident during Stage 2, tensions reached a boiling point when the two drivers were exiting their trucks in the pit lane. The physical altercation broke out as Blaze confronted Bedlam, and words turned into a full-on push-and-shove match. Crew members from both teams rushed to separate the two drivers, but not before the scuffle gained significant attention.

As a result of the altercation, both Brandon Blaze and Tommy Bedlam were issued $100,000 fines each. Race officials were quick to take action, emphasizing that such behavior would not be tolerated in the sport, especially considering the high stakes of the season. Both drivers were also placed under review for further disciplinary action and were warned that any further incidents would lead to even stricter penalties.

* * * * *

Tommy Bedlam, who was involved in an altercation with Brandon Blaze following the race, gave a defiant post-race interview:
"The fine? It was worth it. I’m not letting anyone push me around on the track, and if Blaze thinks he can do that again, next time, I’ll slap him right in his stupid face again. We’ve got a lot of races left this season, and I'm not backing down. He learned today that I don’t play when it comes to respect. A hundred grand? I’ll make that back and then some. I’m here to win, and I’ll do whatever it takes."

Bedlam’s fiery response shows he’s not backing down from Blaze’s actions and promises more fireworks if the two cross paths again in the future.

* * * * *

Tommy Bedlam's unapologetic and fiery attitude following the altercation with Brandon Blaze at Kentucky Speedway has garnered significant attention from Xfinity Series teams. His boldness, combined with his performance on track, has left a lasting impression on several team owners, and offers are reportedly flooding in for the polarizing driver.

One Anonymous Xfinity team official commented:

"You can't teach that kind of attitude. He’s got the heart and grit we need. It’s not just about speed; it’s about fighting for every inch on and off the track. There’s something captivating about his drive, and he’s certainly someone we’re considering as a potential fit for our team."

Bedlam, known for his no-nonsense approach to racing, has drawn praise for his ability to keep pushing even when faced with adversity, and now teams from the Xfinity Series are seeing him as an ideal candidate for the next level of competition. It remains to be seen which team will be able to lock him in for the future, but Bedlam’s stock is rising rapidly.

"Eh, got a little less money, but I think I made my point. If he wants to talk about it again, he's welcome to get with me somewhere without the pit crews around to get involved. I'm not too hard to find."

Stage Three Recap

- The stage is set for a thrilling conclusion at Pocono Raceway, with only 30 laps left in the race. Brandon Blaze (#83) has the advantage after a strong Stage Two performance, but the competition is fierce. Logan Slayer (#40), Zane Smith (#51), and Brett Moffitt (#23) are all in striking distance, with a few surprises lurking in the pack.

Lap 41-45
- The field goes green for the final stage, and Brandon Blaze gets a solid restart, maintaining his lead. Lap 48
- As the race approaches the halfway point of the final stage, Tommy Bedlam (#77) is making a comeback after a rough start. He moves up a few positions, passing both Bobby Rey (#00) and Juice Millar (#53). Meanwhile, Zane Smith starts to pressure Moffitt for third, showcasing his speed on the long straightaways.

Lap 51
- Brandon Blaze maintains his lead, but Logan Slayer is relentless. Slayer starts to close the gap in the corners, taking advantage of Blaze’s slightly higher line. Zane Smith, with a head of steam, moves up to challenge Moffitt for third, making a clean pass through turn 3. Bedlam is now up to 7th, continuing his surge.

Lap 55
- Blaze and Slayer are still neck and neck, with Slayer managing to get within a truck-length of Blaze on several occasions, but Blaze holds steady at the front. Zane Smith, now in third, has been closing in and is trying to create an opportunity to pass. Meanwhile, Brett Moffitt appears to be fading slightly, losing ground to both Smith and Bedlam.

Lap 60
- With less than 10 laps remaining, the battle for the win intensifies. Logan Slayer makes a daring move to the inside of Brandon Blaze on the frontstretch. The two make slight contact, but Blaze maintains the lead by a fraction. Behind them, Zane Smith has caught up and is now a factor in the fight for the lead.

- Blaze continues to hold off Slayer, but Zane Smith has now positioned himself as a serious contender. Slayer looks to make another move, but Blaze's defensive driving keeps him in the lead. Smith, meanwhile, waits for any mistake and remains a close third.

Lap 65
- In the final laps, Blaze and Slayer continue their battle for the win. With the laps winding down, the tension builds, and it’s clear that the final few moments will decide the race. Zane Smith, though not close enough to challenge for the lead just yet, is still very much in the picture.

Lap 70
- Brandon Blaze takes the white flag, and it’s all down to this last lap. Logan Slayer is giving everything he has, but Blaze holds the line. In turn 2, Slayer tries one last move but can’t clear Blaze. Coming down the backstretch, it’s clear Blaze has held off the charge.

“If Tommy wants to be upset he can be upset, he’s the one who started all this. Go back to Chicagoland, he puts his bumper to me, and moves me out of the way, so okay I held on. I hit him back, and he doesn’t hold on. I don’t see how that’s my issue. Then we roll into Kansas, and the dumbass who thinks he’s getting revenge, wrecks and destroys a truck that my team worked hard on getting ready for the race, it’s honestly just ridiculous to think you can try and push me around, and then when I push back he wants to play the damn victim. At this point I don’t even want to focus on him. I have a championship to win.”

PREVIEW PART ONE

Championship Favorites

Juice Millar (#53) – Halmar Friesen Racing
Regular-season points leader.
Has been one of the most consistent drivers all year.
Biggest strength: Short tracks and high-pressure situations.

“Man, it’s been a hell of a regular season. We put ourselves in a great spot by being consistent, but now it’s all about wins. I know I’ve got what it takes, and I want to make Halmar Friesen Racing a championship-winning team. No playing it safe anymore—it’s go time.”
* * * * *

Brandon Blaze (#83) – Niece Motorsports
Most wins (4) this season.
Aggressive and fearless.
Loves making bold moves, but will he be too aggressive?

“Four wins, baby. No one’s got more than us. I don’t care what anyone says—when the pressure’s on, I show up. The playoffs are about taking what’s yours, and I plan on taking it all. Anyone who gets in my way is getting moved.”

Logan Slayer (#40) – DGR-Crosley
Two wins, incredible consistency.
Always a factor at the front, but needs more playoff points.
Biggest strength: Short tracks and high-speed ovals.

The regular season was all about learning. Now, it’s about proving that I belong here. We’ve got speed, we’ve got two wins, but I know I need another to be in the mix. The team believes in me, and I believe in myself. We’re ready.”

PREVIEW PART TWO

Wild Cards

Arthur D'Tea (#8) – Kyle Busch Motorsports
The only driver to make the playoffs without a win.
Known for being one of the cleanest, most precise racers.
If he can find victory lane, he could go deep.

“We made it on points, but that doesn’t mean we don’t deserve to be here. Consistency got us this far, and it can get us to Phoenix. I know people doubt me because I haven’t won, but my time is coming.”

* * * * *

Tommy Bedlam (#77) – GMS Racing
Hot-headed but fast as hell.
Just came off a huge fight with Blaze—can he stay focused?
Biggest strength: Speed at any track, but also his biggest weakness if he gets overaggressive.

“Listen, I’ve made headlines for a lot of things this year. Yeah, I got into it with Blaze, and yeah, I don’t take crap from anyone. But let’s not forget—I got two wins, and I’m not done yet. This is where the real fun starts.”
* * * * *

Bobby Rey (#00) – Niece Motorsports
Quietly putting together a great season.
One of the most improved drivers and a surprise playoff contender.
Can he step up when it matters?

“Nobody expected me to be here, but I earned this. I’ve been getting better every race, and I don’t plan on stopping now. I might be the underdog, but I love that role. Watch out.”

Veteran Presence
Brett Moffitt (#23) – GMS Racing
Former champion who knows how to win in the playoffs.
Biggest advantage: Experience under pressure.

“I’ve been here before. This is where the real season starts. I don’t care how many wins you got before—if you don’t perform now, you’re done. I know how to get to Phoenix, and I plan on being there.”

* * * * *

Sheldon Creed (#2) – GMS Racing
Winless, but a consistent frontrunner.
If he gets a win, he could be a real contender.

“I’m fired up. We made it in on points, but I don’t plan on being a points racer anymore. I want to win. The goal is simple—be aggressive, be fast, and get to the final four.”

* * * * *

Zane Smith (#51) – ThorSport Racing
Earned his first win just before the playoffs.
Peaking at the right time.
Biggest strength: Superspeedways and tough tracks.

“We won when we needed to, and we’re hitting our stride. Now it’s about keeping up the momentum and finding another win. I think we can surprise a few people.”

Nothing To Lose
Chris Southern (#20) – McAnally-Hilgemann
The only road course winner this year.
Leaving for Supercars at the end of the season—will he go out on top?
“I’m just here to win before I head to Supercars next year. We proved we can do it at the Roval, now let’s do it again. This team has given me a great truck—I owe them another trophy before I go.”

I feel like I’m a Joey, or a Ross. :lol super aggressive, and definitely will move you if I feel i got done wrong :lmao
