I was a fan of Jimmie Johnsons before he started winning those Championships. Then all of the buzz and talking about him constantly on FOX, NBC, ESPN, TNT, etc. got annoying.

I'd like to think that part of why he fell off and stopped being able to win is that the cars changed, Chevrolet struggled for awhile and he just hasn't been able to adapt to it. He wanted to win that ROVAL in 2018 really bad though and nearly did. That may have been his closest chance to win since those 3 wins in 2017.

Glad to see this thread being made since the 2020 season is less than a month away.

It's sad to see Jimmie Johnson hang it up after this upcoming season. His streak of winning five-consecutive championships will forever be unmatched. His seven cup championships will be equal to icons of Dale Earnhardt Sr. and Richard Petty. In the last few years, he's been lost rankings tenth or below in the points standings after winning his seventh title. This year is his swan song, I do hope he puts up one last fight of his NASCAR career.

We're probably about to honestly get a ton of Smackdown people during the first half of the season since it's on Fox.

I'm going to need Raw stars during the second half since it's NBC, and NBC owns USA Network.

Fuck it, I want a wrestler at every race that's not the day of a PPV.

Yeah, it's going to be interesting to see what all wrestlers end up at the NASCAR races that are under the same "umbrella" as either RAW or Smackdown. Especially with FOX and Smackdown.

Charlotte at the Coke 600 last year was great of course but it was also a nice surprise to hear her voice before the ROVAL race started.
