I’m excited for this one.

Trucks have great racing a lot.

That sucked. MTJ is one of my favorites. He forced it in there too much to get in front of Elliott.

The last thing that I want to see in these playoffs is Hamlin and Harvick running away with it and MTJ helped Harvick out in that one obviously.

By the way, I liked the stage 2 commentary from Dale Jr, Kyle Petty and Dale Jarrett. Jarrett confronting Dale Jr. about a race long ago had me laughing.

I think it was a mistake for both drivers to be involved in that incident. But, Shit happens. They didn't lose much ground in the playoff standings, there's two races to go before the next round: Richmond & Bristol.

Congrats to #4 for his eighth victory. It's boring but he continues to be unstoppable against everyone not named Hamlin.

After the race, Bowyer, Custer, DiBenedetto and shockingly, Blaney, below the cutoff line. I really want to see Blaney finish better these next two races, to avoid being eliminated from the playoffs.

P.S. A late congrats to William Byron on getting his first ever Cup Series victory to get to the playoffs.

Maybe I'm just bias, but I just don't see the mistake Chase made. Like, he's surely not gonna let MTJ take the spot.

If that was the last lap, or at least with 2 or 3 to go, it be one thing. But Truex had plenty of time to make the move and get the lead. It was 15 to go, he had the better car, he would've likely gotten around him if he took his time once he caught up to him.

The Xfinity race was definitely the best race of the weekend, although it was the first time I've watched a race weekend at Darlington, and I thought it was a really interesting track.

It has one of the best finishes ever in NASCAR, IMO.

So Penske is obviously involved since he partially owns the track.

This is interesting. From what I understand the new track proposal is basically the size of the front stretch and pit road from the current track. I guess Martinsville would be the closest thing to this new track proposal.

Honestly seems like a 7/10 track is going to turn into a short-track - do we really need anymore of those?

The turns will be like Bristol. but the straights yeah are pretty much like Martinsville from what it seems. Should be rather interesting.

When we only got 3 short tracks yes yes we do.

You have Bristol, Martinsville , and Richmond. As much as they TRY and say Phoenix is a short track, it's not.

Most of the tracks are 1.5 mile tracks, so it COULD'VE been better to take one of them, maybe like Texas, or Kansas honestly. Auto Club is one of only two tracks like that. The other being Michigan. But it honestly is great to get more short tracks.

I understand Short Tracks for the Trucks - but once you get into Xfinity and the Cup Series, it just seems to be a stabiliser.

I'd say really Dover and the Magic Mile are short, but Phoenix being a tri-oval isn't

My definition of what a short track is, anything under a mile is what a short track is. So if those two tracks lost just a little bit of track they are a short track. It’s splitting hairs sure, but that’s how it is. I just love short track racing, so it’s why I welcome the change.

I know what you mean Blaze - i just think its a shame they didn't think of just give one of these some higher edges on the curves instead. Seems like a waste FMPOV.
