That sounds great. I've not listened to much Paradise Lost either, sounds a bit like early Katatonia.
I see Revocation being referred to as "the new DEATH" a lot. While I don't think they're ever going to have the amount of influence that DEATH/Chuck Schuldiner had, Revocation is easily one of the best newer bands out there today.
Gonna be one of these days. Also this album and the one before it are proof that Six Feet Under didn't always suck.
Haunted and Warpath are their two really good ones. Everything after that just kinda fell apart. Barnes' vocals got worse and the writing as a whole slacked.
It does, I just don't really agree with saying they're going to be the next Death. Revocation are pretty damn good, but there won't be another band as influential as Death IMO.
Yeah, I don't agree with that either. Most newer bands just don't compare to the classics.

Immolation are so incredibly badass.
I got into them because of wrestling, lol. Balls Mahoney used to wear Immolation shirts in ECW so I checked the band out one day.
Lol really? Never knew that, that's fucking cool. One of my favorite DM bands for sure.
