So Sabaton, a Swedish Heavy Metal band, did a song about Sergeant Alvin York, which is beyond all kinds of awesomeness both as a metalhead and a Tennesseean.

Do you like Metal? Do you like Gothic attire and theme? Do you Japanese Pop music? Well, guess this band is for you.

So I have no idea why but in the last couple of weeks
I've been REALLY enjoying some Death Metal.

Now normally when I need my fix I listen to my favorite
albums by Morbid Angel, Cannibal Corpse & Deicide...
but I finally decided to look for some new bands in the
genre...and Holy Hell...I have found some truly powerful
& unique new "old school" death metal bands.

Tomb Mold, Witch Vomit, Cerebral Rot, Consumed by
Vultures & 01101111011101100110111001101001...
all of which have recently served up some absolutely
crushing albums of death metal with each band having
their own unique style & sound.

I haven't been this enthusiastic about music in a long
time...and that's actually really cool.
