After 65 mins.

"Piers Morgan ?@piersmorgan
Is Van Pursestrings even on the pitch?"

Lol, that's why you don't boast about things during a game.

"Van Pursestrings still on the pitch at Etihad Stadium - searching for all the coins that got thrown."

This one actually made me laugh, lol.

I would say yes. English fans should learn to respect their own national team/ former national team players, no matter which club they play for. Otherwise its just hypocrisy imho.

Whilst I agree, that will never happen. It's in the same category as racism, sexism, dictatorships etc - none of them should happen, but they will never go away. Football fans (especially rival football fans) take club over country every day of the week.

I'd rather some of our fan base learned respect across the board tbh, it's not just our own players we abuse sadly. I'm just grateful its evolved from the constant fighting in the terraces as seems to be more present in Italian and Eastern European areas.

From Ferdinand's facebook:-

"What a result!! 3points! Sweet! Whoever threw that coin, what a shot! Can't believe it was a copper 2p.... Could have at least been a £1 coin"

His personality. I don't agree that he's the BITW, but I do think he will be in a couple of years. I love his personality, he's different from the usual footballer. Most of them collect their wage and that's it, but he seems genuinely distraught when he loses. And today for example, a City fan confronted United defender and he just shoves him away, class act.

I do agree with the personality part, but i dont believe he will EVER be the BITW or even the Best in the Premiure League.

Who's the best in the PL if not Hart?

Last year i would have said Van Der Ser hands down. This year, Petr Cheq should probably be rated as the best, reliable, doesnt make mistakes, doesnt put the defense under unnecessery pressure. Brad Friedel, Tim Krul, Hugo Loris and Pepe Reina are all better keepers than Hart.

Hart is a bit like De Gea. Makes fantastic sometimes, but at other times concedes goal that should be saved by any top level keeper.

Two things

1: Van Der Sar hasn't played for a couple of years now.

2: Cech has been really weak(understandebly) since his head injury. He's nowhere near the best.
