These people need to appear in S2:

- Psycho Clown
- Machine Rocker
- Australian Suicide (different character)
- Venum
- Steve Pain
- Goya Kong
- Taya
- Hiedra
- Octagoncito
- Dinastia
- Rey Mysterio Jr.
- Los Traumas (fantasy booking if there ever was one)

If I had to pick only three realistic names out of the bunch, I'd go with Psycho, Rocker and Goya Kong.

From LUG to Hernandez: Thank You. Fuck You. Bye.
proxy.php

Lucha Underground officially announced today that they have released ShawnHernandez from his contract.

Hernandez had apparently left Lucha Underground and signed with TNA this past June, only for it to come out that Hernandez was still under contract to Lucha Underground.

Hernandez apparently has asked for his release from Lucha Underground, which was in the works, however it never went through. TNA stated at the time that Hernandez had told him that he was a free agent, and they eventually parted ways with Hernandez in July.

Below is the official press release from Lucha Underground:

'LUCHA UNDERGROUND' PARTS WAYS WITH SHAWN HERNANDEZ

Los Angeles, CA (September 25, 2015) – Lucha Underground, the Lucha Libre wrestling franchise from United Artists Media Group and FactoryMade Ventures, has released Shawn Hernandez from his contract and they have amicably parted ways.

"Lucha Underground" is produced by United Artists Media Group in association with FactoryMade Ventures for El Rey Network. Executive producers are Mark Burnett, Eric Van Wagenen (also showrunner) and Brian Edwards of United Artists Media Group; Dorian Roldán from Lucha Libre AAA; Alejandro Garcia and Antonio Cué Sánchez-Navarro; El Rey Network co-founder Robert Rodriguez; and FactoryMade Ventures and El Rey Network co-founders John Fogelman and Cristina Patwa. The series airs on El Rey Network and is distributed internationally by United Artists Media Group.

Good one, Hernandez. Got let go from two National TV broadcasted companies in one move! Didn't think he could screw up that badly. Also, just attempting to leave LUG for TNA in the first place... :dawg:

How LU is solving the money problems/smaller budget for season 2: Dario will no longer be giving Big Ryck a big wad of cash every five episodes since Ryck is retiring after this weekend.

Lemme just put this here:

It appears as if the reports of the former Ezekiel Jackson's retirement may be premature. After German company wXw reported Big Ryck's retirement earlier this week, his agent said otherwise.

Bill Behrens issued the following statement about Ryck.

"Big Ryck/Big Zeke (WWE's Ezekiel Jackson) did not wrestle his last match at a recent wXw show in Germany, nor retire from wrestling regardless of the various Internet reports to the contrary. His Wikipedia page was even incorrectly updated to note his "retirement". The only source for this info was from within the wXw promotion, and not Rycklon Stevens, who never confirmed the retirement to any Internet reporter.

He is still available for bookings and now flies out of San Francisco."

If that article is to be believed, then Ryck not retiring is super good news.

We've noted how Lucha Underground will begin filming soon to return to the El Rey Network in January 2016.

Bryan Alvarez noted on Wrestling Observer Live today that he heard a rumor of Lucha Underground receiving a "big influx of cash" and that they would be taping season 2 and season 3 at the same time.

"Dr. Lucha" Steve Sims, who was Alvarez's guest, said he could not confirm the rumor but that appears to be the case. Sims said he has heard a lot of good news and people in the promotion are very excited about how things are going. He didn't expect a third season to come because of finances but apparently it's happening.

The deal for seasons 2 and 3 may see the promotion receive a little less per season than before, around $3 million. It was reported back in September that the budget for each episode for season 2 would be decreased from last season's $400,000 per episode and that the changes made due to the budget cut would not be noticeable.

Production is scheduled to pick back up in the next few weeks. Apparently there are also rumors of the show having more of a "space alien theme" with more dramatics.

If this is true, then filming season 2 and 3 at the same time would be sweet!
