WCW Monday Night Nitro 4/22/1996: American Males v.s Public Enemy.

The American Males took it right to Public Enemy. They were brawling and diving on them getting the quick start. It led to them controlling most of the match until it got way too out of hand. Public Enemy got DQed and brought tables into play. There was a cool table spot but it was after the match so sorry WCW I can't take that into account match wise. Still an alright tag match to show off different parts of the division.

WCW Monday Night Nitro 4/22/1996: Chris Benoit v.s Eddie Guerrero.

This isn't the great match on Benoit's set don't get confused. It's got the high octane action you'd expect. It's a good sprint but this wasn't as crisp or fluid as I would have liked. Benoit also cheated to win to show off the he is indeed a Horsemen. When you see these two on the marquee you always expect more than this. It at least accomplished what it was supposed to do.

WWF SummerSlam '90 - Power and Glory vs The Rockers

This had to basically be a handicap match because Shawn Michaels was coming in with a bad knee, so they took him out real early and he never got into the match. For the circumstances, this was a real good match, and Jannetty looked good in the loss because of how well he fared against two power guys. Power and Glory's finish is awesome too by the way. Great way to start the PPV.

WWF SummerSlam '90 - WWF Intercontinental Championship: Mr. Perfect (c) vs The Texas Tornado

Why this match only got 5 minutes is beyond me, but it was some decent enough action in that time. I expected better, but Perfect always did his best when he was allowed to establish a nice pace, which you can't do in 5 minutes. Ending came out of nowhere as well, but at least the crowd was hot.

WWF SummerSlam '90 - Tito Santana vs The Warlord

This was originally supposed to be Santana vs Rick Martel, but Martel was injured, so he was replaced with Warlord. Really nothing good to say about this other than it wasn't terrible and there was a nice false finishes where Warlord put his foot on the rope at the last second to avoid being pinned after the Flying Forearm. Warlord shouldn't have won though.

WWF SummerSlam '90 - Two out of Three Falls for the WWF World Tag Team Championships: Demolition (c) vs The Hart Foundation

Crush and Smash are the Demolition members here. First two falls had some great action, good finishes to each and fun to watch. The third fall is where the overbooking comes in, and holy shit was this overbooked. First of all, it's absolutely ridiculous that the referee can't tell the difference between Ax and Smash when they switch places a couple times, they look nothing alike. Then the Legion of Doom come out and cost Demolition the match and give the Hart Foundations the titles basically, could have done without that bullshit, but at least the first two falls were still good.

WWF SummerSlam '90 - Bad News Brown vs Jake Roberts

Boss Man is the ref here, and this was horrible. I guess you can say the stupid DQ finish fit the match though, considering how terrible it was. Only good thing was Piper calling Boss Man the "Big Bosom Man" on commentary. Piper also summed it up at the end, "I think it was a cheap victory." Yes, Roddy, yes it was.

WWF SummerSlam '90 - Jim Duggan & Nikolai Volkoff vs The Orient Express

Another terrible match. Duggan and Volkoff should never team, ever.

WWF SummerSlam '90 - Dusty Rhodes vs Randy Savage

Ugh, another terrible match. Even without all the bullshit that happened right before it with Sapphire, this was terrible. It only went around two minutes and Macho finished with a scepter shot. Horrible.

WWF RAW 01/05/1998 - Farooq v. Ken Shamrock

The was a good opener for Raw and a good way to kick off the new year. Farooq did a good job making Shamrock look like a future champ. ** After the match Austin stuns Shamrock

WWF RAW 01/05/1998 - NWA Title: Barry Windham v. Jeff Jarrett

So before this match Cornette has put his money where his mouth is. He has brought in the President and VP of the NWA and he brags about its rich history. Which leads to this match, and i really wish they didn't bother because they basically buried Windham and this was just here to give Jarrett heat. The only thing i found entertaining about this was that Cornette before the match was doing his usual rant about wrestling not being what it should be in the ring, just to have a Swerve ending. *3/4 After the match Austin stuns Jarrett.

WWF RAW 01/05/1998 - The Truth Comission w/ Jackyl vs. The DOA

All the moves were here for 4 big guys but the action was boring. The Truth Comission got no heat which hurt this as well. 1/4* After the match Kurrgan comes down and they beat on Skull and 8-Ball. He uses THE CLAW, what is it with guys over 7ft using the CLAW.

WWF SummerSlam '90 - Earthquake vs Hulk Hogan

Not bad, better than I expected. Hogan kicked out and no-sold TWO Earthquake Splashes though, that's such bullshit. Also, how weak did it make Earthquake look when Hogan threw Jimmy Hart into him and Earthquake didn't catch him, but just fell back. Countout victory was lame too, but I mean, it was just as good as a Leg Drop would have been.

WWF RAW 01/05/1998 - Savio Vega w/ Los Boriquas vs. Owen Hart

This was fun and i'm glad they made it competivie cause they could had Owen squash Vaga but they didn't. So yeah this was nice to get Owen over. **1/4 After the match, Owen tries to attack Triple H on the stage, but the Boriquas attack him. They hold him for HBK and HHH to slap him, and they hand the Puerto Ricans a roll of cash. lol
