NWA The Great American Bash '90 - Arn Anderson, Barry Windham, & Sid Vicious vs El Gigante, Junkyard Dog, & Paul Orndorff

This was actually pretty good, especially when Wonderful was involved, holy shit he looked great. Gigante being viewed as such a big monster that the Horsemen were scared to get close to was hilarious though. Also, the over-the-top rope DQ finish was cheap.

ROH Undeniable 2007 - ROH World Championship: Takeshi Morishima vs. Nigel McGuinness

This wasn't their best match, and i would call it their worst match. Morishima was pretty beaten up at the time and this being on a PPV i think 98% of us knew Nigel was gonna win the title here. The ending was pretty predictable but was really hot and i enjoyed it, but everything before that was okay. I wasn't a fan of Nigel throwing lariat after lariat for 15 minutes but it was part of the story of the match, as he used those to soften Up Shima. ***1/4

NWA The Great American Bash '90 - NWA United States Heavyweight Championship: Lex Luger (c) vs Mean Mark

Luger finished with a completely normal looking clothesline :lmao. This match was so boring, I couldn't stay interested in it at all, and because of that, I found myself not paying attention to it at all. Should not have happened, and definitely shouldn't have gotten as much time as it did.

NWA The Great American Bash '90 - NWA World Tag Team Championships: Doom (c) vs Rock 'N' Roll Express

Pretty good match, but to be completely honest, I didn't see as much of it as I should of, it was kind of just on because I was distracted by the shoutbox. May go back and rewatch it after I finish this PPV.

ROH Take No Prisoners - ROH World Champion: Nigel McGuinness vs. Tyler Black

This was a hell of a match which had the most amazing story telling I've seen in ROH They went for the “Cinderella Story” here, with McGuinness dominating, with Tyler, having already wrestled once, fighting courageously and doing all he can to secure the massive World Title win. Sometimes multiple finisher kick-outs can seem cliched but the story they went for made every single time Tyler kicked out mean something. This was THE moment Black broke out of the pack and went from “a dude in the Age of the Fall” to “future World champion.” This was truly a great way to build a guy. ****

WCW Monday Night Nitro 2/12/1996: Hugh Morrus v.s Randy Savage.

Not too bad of a squash. Morrus kept fighting with blows, eyerakes and other heel tactics as he tried to get the control. It led to one suplex but then Savage pretty much just decides to win. He hits a body slam and two of his top rope Elbows. Morrus did very well here and Macho Man came off as a threat to take the belt off of Ric Flair on next week's Nitro.

NWA The Great American Bash '90 - NWA World Heavyweight Championship: Ric Flair (c) vs Sting

This was real good, told a nice story of it being Sting's first match back after being kicked out of the Horsemen and injured by Flair. I would have liked Flair to work of the knee a little more, and Sting's no-selling always made me mad, but this was still pretty fun to watch. They've had better matches with each other though...like that classic on Impact last year 8D

WCW Monday Night Nitro 2/12/1996: Scotty Riggs v.s Loch Ness.

This was just another bad Loch Ness match. How a guy that big can't catch Riggs jumping off the top rope... I just don't know. He just couldn't do it and then he falls on Riggs because he loses his balance before doing two big elbows. I'm surprised he did two because usually one wears this guy out.

ROH Glory By Honor VII - ROH World Championship: Nigel McGuinness vs. El Generico

This started off really slow, took some time for the crowd to really get going but they got them in the end. I do prefer the match they had in Cleveland, I forget what the show was called but i remember that match had Better crowd, better atmosphere and crazy nearfalls at the end which had you believing Generico could come out with the win. But in this one just about everyone knew Nigel was winning the title because 2/3 weeks before Steenerico won the tag titles for the first time. But with all that being said it was a great effort from both men I really enjoyed Nigel's arm work and Generico sold that thing like a pro but i'm not surprised because he's one of the best sellers in wrestling today. ***3/4

WCW Saturday Night 4/6/1996: The Punisher v.s Rand Savage.

Nothing wrong with this. Quick and effective.

WCW Saturday Night 4/6/1996: Handicap Match- Butch Long & ??? v.s Kevin Sullivan.

I don't really know if this actually supposed to be a tag match with Arn Anderson or not. All he said in the backstage promo was that he'd would be ready for their match on Nitro. So what about tonight, Arn? Either way Sullivan had two opponents which he beat in like 30 seconds. He knocked one guy over then threw the other man out of the ring. He then followed up with his double stomp on the guy he knocked down in the ring... Yeah that was it and this was useless.

WCW Saturday Night 4/6/1996: Thunder Posse? v.s Public Enemy.

At one point I think Tony Schaivone called PE's opponents the Thunder Posse. That is all I have to work off of because of course they didn't bother to tell us who they actually were before the match. Whatever it doesn't last long and the THUNDER POSSE don't even get to tag out once.

WCW Saturday Night 4/6/1996: WCW Title Match- The Booty Man v.s Ric Flair(c).

This wasn't too bad until the quick DQ fnish. There just isn't much here to care about but then again Booty Man doesn't deserve this match. Title matches shouldn't be thrown around like this. I don't care if Brutus faced Hogan at Starrcade.

WCW Saturday Night 4/6/1996: TV Title Match- The Giant v.s Lex Luger(c).

Most of this was Giant destroying Luger. I enjoyed it a lot more than what Big Show does now to start matches. Only time you can really get him going like this now is if you get in the way of his opening onslaught. Here though he was proving something. It may have been just an episode of Saturday Night but he was on a rampage. Luger's comeback was decent but it didn't go anywhere as Jimmy Hart got the apron who was managing both Giant and Luger at the time... However Jimmy went to the ring The Giant. Once he's on the apron and Luger is confronting him and the megaphone ends up in the ring. So yeah Giant is like I'm totally using this until Sting comes in, takes it for himself and hits him. No idea why Sting cost Lex the match because he could have just taken the megaphone out of the ring. The ending just deflates what was already some good action.

WCW Saturday Night 4/20/1996: Men At Work v.s American Males.

One of the gayest sounding wrestling matches returns. Yeah if the first time wasn't a giant fuck up of a match too. This match needed something horrible I guess as well because Kanyon misses a Moonsault completely. He flies all the way over his opponent and Bagwell didn't even bother rolling out of the way. Either they planned this or they did something on the fly because it messed up the finish. He gets hit with a double dropkick shortly after this from both Bagwell and Riggs so you take it for it's worth. It doesn't matter now because this match is record books as garbage and considering the beat down Kanyon was taking from the American Males could have went somewhere it does kind of suck. Oh well.
