ROH Glory By Honor VI, Night 2 - GHC Heavyweight Title Match: Mitsuharu Misawa vs. KENTA

This has to be one of the most disappointing matches in recent memory not Lesnar/Goldberg bad cause that was horrible at least this had it's moment. The only reason i say that was because what Kobashi did with Joe but with that being said, they told a solid story of the younger guy keeping the vet grounded so he doesn't get hit with those big forearms/Punches and Kicks of Misawa. As you would expect Kenta was forced to carry most of the action, as virtually everyone predicted. So the pace was very slow for most of the match which got the crowd silent but after that elbow suicide dive, and the old-fashioned, puro style, head-droppy multiple finishers sequence got going they came alive again and the last few minutes were good. ***1/4 - ***1/2 Seeing Misawa in America and on a ROH is a great moment for me but seeing him live and meeting him was a totally different moment and a moment i will never forget. RIP

WWF WrestleMania VI - Million Dollar Championship: Jake Roberts vs Ted DiBiase

This was a real good match, definitely enjoyed this one even with the lame countout finish, plus it was the only match other than the main event that went longer than 10 minutes. Also, the crowd started the wave a couple minutes in and got loud as fuck, that was cool.

WWF WrestleMania VI - Akeem vs Big Boss Man

Boss Man was attacked by DiBiase before the match started but he still managed to win a sloppy match against Akeem in less than two minutes. Nothing much more to say really, not a good match at all.

WWF WrestleMania VI - Jimmy Snuka vs Rick Rude

Pretty good considering it only went about 4 minutes. Could have easily cut one of the other short matches on this card and given this one more time. Ending was weak though, Rude just kinda' hit the Rude Awakening without any set up or anything.

ROH The Tokyo Summit - KENTA & Kota Ibushi vs. Naomichi Marafuji & Katsuhiko Nakajima

This was basically a 30 minute + extra 5 minute exibision match from these 4 guys. I remember first watching it in '08 and going crazy but now that it'a 4 years later i must say it doesn't hold up. while the action was fun it also had some sloppiness from Ibushi and the fact that it's difficult to get behind one team because of the lack of emotions showed here. ***3/4

WWF WrestleMania VI - WWF Championship & WWF Intercontinental Championship: Hulk Hogan (c) vs Ultimate Warrior (c)

Great match, especially with the crowd as hot as it was. Best match of the night for sure, and a much better match than I expected Hogan and Warrior to put on together. Hogan's reaction when he lost, dropping to his knees, was hilarious too.

ROH 7th Anniversary Show - ROH World Title Match: KENTA vs. Nigel McGuinness

Just like how Danielson went into his match against KENTA at GBH with a separated shoulder Nigel was coming in with a torn right bicep until the night before when he tore is other bicep, yep you heard right he was coming into this match with both biceps being torn. I give Nigel a ton, a fucking ton of respect for even having this match and for put on an amazing performance. The fact that he had no choice but to adjusted his offence, completely removed all the lariats and allot of his arm moves, He looked to be in pain just moving around out there but he still hung with KENTA. from bell-to-bell I also gotta show respect to KENTA for not completely kicking the shit out of Nigel's arms and worked well within what punishment Nigel's biceps could take. They worked smart and left the big spots for the latter part of the match. ****1/4

ROH Supercard of Honor IV - GHC Jr. Heavyweight Title: KENTA vs. Davey Richards

Their first match was Teacher vs. Student, but this match was built as student who thinks he has now surpassed the teacher. This was the Davey/Kenta match you were expecting allot of stiff shots and NO-Sell and full of kicking and false finishes. But you know that was the case when you saw these two will be facing each other. Another reason to enjoy this match was Davey wasn't come across the spots for the sake of spots and MMA mode yet so that made it fun. I did mark for the "Falcon Arrow to the floor" which was amazing but outside that it was just the normal stuff from these two. ****1/4 I've seen people give it the full 5 which is crazy seeing how Kenta fucked up the ending and No Sold any of Davey's leg work down the stretch.

Oh and one last thing i couldn't help but laugh @ the fans chanted "Fuck WrestleMania" and "Match of the Year" after because Shawn and Taker would have a match 2 days later which blew it out of the watch, but hey they didn't know at the time.

ROH Take No Prisoners 2009 - KENTA & Tyler Black vs. Katsuhiko Nakajima & Austin Aries

That was almost non-stop action from bell to bell which was great cause it showed that all 4 guys are not some well oiled machine and are not familiar with each other. So instead of pretending to be some tag team the went out and excited and electrified the crowd with fast and high impact moves which mean they had a spotfeast match. I loved the finishing stretch of the match. ***3/4

ROH End of an Age - KENTA vs. Tyler Black

Really good non-stop action from bell-to-bell here as exected. This was during the time when ROH was bringing Black up to the main event title picture, and even though he didn’t defeat KENTA, he still looked really strong in the loss which is what allot of the people do when they lose to Kenta which i've noticed people don't see. ***3/4

ROH Death Before Dishonor V Night 2 - Philadelphia Street Fight: No Remorse Corps & Matt Sydal vs. The Resilience & Delirious

If you like selling then this match is not for you. But if you can tolerate the No-Sell and want to see wrestlers beat the living shit out of each other for 30+ minutes then this match is for you. All 8 guys brutally beat the fuck out of each other here It wasn't quite as good and as Violent as the Briscoes/Steenerico's one they had the night before (which reminds me i really have to see that again) but this has it's moments as well. It have 2/3 dead spots which is krazy cause you have 8 guys out their so nothing should be dead. But some of that deadness came from this running 33-35 minutes which i feel they didn't need. However this match did accomplish something tho, the closing 5 minutes made Erick Stevens a star if you think about it. cause unto this point the main focus of this NRC/Resilience feud has always been on Aries and Strong but the beating Stevens took and him refusing to stay down lead the people to get behind which automatically lead into the Strong/Stevens rivalry which was pretty violent as well. I give all 8 credit for the beating they gave each other wait i take that back all 6 cause Delirious and Rocky Romero barely did anything. ****

WCW Saturday Night 1/13/1996: WCW Title Match- Ric Flair v.s Randy Savage(c).

Just watch their Nitro match from December. This was a a follow up that is about on the same level. The mat work was a solid start but the emotion in their Nitro match and of course their PPV match before that was much better. The DQ finish sucks as well. It's just lackluster to the action you know could happen. So I didn't care much for this but it still held it's purpose. I just wanted more...

WCW Uncensored 1996: US Title Match- Konnan(c) v.s Eddie Guerrero.

Some awesome action with some horrible booking. It kills the ending. However the match may have went too long. The finish is also sketchy as hell. It was a headbutt low blow after Eddie did a normal leap frog. Oh yeah also it was edited after this. I don't have any idea what really happened. The finish was sketchy like I said. It ended the match but I think something else was supposed to happen. What I hate is it was pretty good before yet being a little sloppy before this.

WCW Uncensored 1996: William Regal v.s Fit Finlay.

This is an awesome FIGHT. That is what this is. It lasts until WCW officials think it shouldn't anymore. These two should pound on each other all the time. It should be an annual thing. They know each other so well. Jesus, man. If it wasn't for Regal's crew showin' up this could have been something legendary. They worked as hard as they could until it was called. Imagine if this would have been able to develop into a real ending.

WCW Uncensored 1995: Col. Robert Parker v.s Madusa.

Never watch this. It's the definition of useless.
