WWE NXT 07/18/2012 - Richie Steamboat vs. Leo Kruger

Good match here. But Leo Kruger just looks like every other cocky, sophisticated punch-kick bad guy you’ve ever seen with the tiny twist of being from South Africa. I think Steamboat, charisma-wise, is a little too MEHHH!!!! right now but his father was never known for his mic skills or charisma either. Ao i can look past it. The ending was smart aswell with Kruger winning with his feet on the ropes cause what that allows them to do is have a rematch off that or even a possible feud plus it makes Steamboat looking strong cause he didn't get pinned clean. **1/2

WCW Saturday Night 2/24/1996: Pez Whatley v.s One Man Gang.

This was pretty hard hitting for the most part. Pez is good sized guy for someone like OMG... To beat in 1990, not 1996. He is just so out of shape, he should be the one jobbing to future talent. Pez is a solid worker and did his best taking OMG's moves here but the ending corner splash he sells before the 747 was just not very believable. Still this was still rough and felt more like a real fight, just a complete mismatch.

WWE NXT 07/18/2012 - Justin Gabriel vs. Heath Slater

These to have pretty good chemistry and i would like to see them work again. But i felt they could of done more even working off the "They use to be a tag team so they know eachother well" but they didn't do any of that which was dissapointing. I also didn't like the finish with Gabriel doing the moonsault into a reverse DDT you know the same move AJ Styles does. **1/2

WCW Saturday Night 2/24/1996: US Title Match- Scott Armstrong v.s Konnan(c).

If Konnan's gameplan was to confuse Armstrong then he got the job done because his offense was all over the place. It was like he was just showcasing for the sake of it. If this was against a Lucha opponent it probably would have came off better. In the first few moments we got an armdrag from Konnan on the outside apron to a standing Armstrong on the floor. Well this just falls apart as Konnan tries to jump to the floor. I don't think Scott had any idea how to take this move or what the fuck Konnan was really doing. Then we get into the ring and Konnan starts making up submissions as he twists and turns Scott. Maybe this would have came off better as well if Dusty Rhodes didn't say he doesn't know the names of these moves for about 2-3 minutes this section lasted. Somehow late Scott is able get a couple moves in until Konnan hits a dropkick that I think the intention was to hit Armstrong's knee. He hits him the gut and then hits a lower dropkick. A roll up happens after this and Konnan bridges out for the win. This was just a mess from my point of view but has some decent things at times.

WCW Saturday Night 2/24/1996: Sgt. Craig Pitbull v.s Diamond Dallas Page.

This was alright at certain points but neither guy was all that great. DDP was a decent heel here and his stalling at the beginning may have been the best part. However, after some decent exchanges, you gets some horrible shit. Moves that just look like garbage and ineffective. The ending was trash, too. Pitbull reverses a Piledriver on the outside only for DDP to get up a little bit after taking the fall to hit a closeline in such a short area with no momentum that led them both getting counted out. I'm not kidding at all. Only positive is at that point nobody deserved to win.

WWE Smackdown (7/21/12) - Camacho, Hunico, & The Primetime Players vs Epico, Kofi Kingston, Primo, & R-Truth

Pretty good stuff here, AW was awesome on the outside as usually. Hunico looked great the few minutes he was in as well, loads of potential for them. Ending was pretty sweet too.

WWE Smackdown (7/21/12) - Damien Sandow vs Zack Ryder

This was just a squash, but a decent one. I love Sandow's aggressive offense.

WCW Saturday Night 2/24/1996: WCW Tag Team Title Match- Public Enemy v.s Sting & Lex Luger(c).

I actually didn't mind this very much everyone seemed to play their role well especially Sting & Luger. Sting did his usual open burst of offense to start the match then tagged out, came back later and was still all over Public Enemy. I'm not sure Sting took any damage in this match but I've seen a lot of tags where he doesn't so nothing new there. Luger took a beatdown for a couple minutes to actually make PE look like somewhat of threat. The action made sense and the finish worked for the flow of the match. There really isn't too much to be upset about here when I was expecting much worse.

WWE Smackdown (7/21/12) - Daniel Bryan vs Kane

Liked this up until the stupid DQ finish. Would have been worth it if Kane had Chokeslammed AJ, but sadly, he didn't.

WCW Saturday Night 2/24/1996: The Gambler & ??? v.s The Road Warriors.

Simple squash and the Road Warriors looked rather impressive. I don't know who Gambler was tagging with but it doesn't matter he was never tagged in. Road Warriors runnin' it, dawg. Too bad this is about the best way to showcase them.

WWE Smackdown (7/21/12) - Heath Slater vs Road Warrior Animal

Man, Heath is awesome, but this was the squash we all expected. No clue why Animal finished with a standing elbow drop instead of the Powerslam right before it though.

WWE Superstars 07/19/2012 - Santino Marella vs. Jinder Mahal

Man this was boring, i didn't mind Satino's offense at the begining but once Jinder took control he slowed this match down. I got where he was going with his moves he wanted to be more cerebral but that wasn't working for him. And every match i've seen from him seems the same it's like he has one pace doesn't wanna go into that other gear. Also i would of cut 3 minutes from this. *3/4

WWE Superstars 07/19/2012 - Alex Riley vs. Cody Rhodes

Riley gets a massive ovation, WOW. Then he threw coke in the air and now i'm a fan. I can't help but laugh at Rhodes. Now i like him in the ring but some of his fans on this forum crack me up when it comes to him. But that's another thread. This was not a fan match, matter of fact i enjoyed it. I think everyone knew Riley wasn't winning but the crowd didn't care and kept with him throughout the match which was great. Riley got some nice moves in and Cody was his normal good worker self here. Not much to complain about. **3/4 I would like to see them do it again.

WCW Saturday Night 2/24/1996: Scott Norton v.s Ice Train.

This match was made after their prior match ended in a time limit draw... How or why these two would fight to a time limit draw is behind me but they had a nice handshake after the match to show they respect each other. Whatever, so now we get some pretty good hard, hitting action. Nothing wrong with it as it was the entire intention. After both getting periods of extended offense we get a double closeline knocking down both me with authroity. This just leads to a double count by the referee though and neither make the 10 count. So another draw but this was a better way to work a draw between the two. I think they get a rematch on the next PPV which I actually plan on watching when I get there. That is pretty much it but it's still quite legit.

WWE Smackdown (7/21/12) - Alberto Del Rio & Dolph Ziggler vs Rey Mysterio & Sheamus

Real good stuff here with all 4 looking pretty good, especially the heels. I dislike the DQ ending though, especially after we already had one to end Bryan/Kane. Ziggler sells both guys finishers after the match like only he can.
