WCW Saturday Night 6/24/1995: Chris Kanyon v.s Diamond Dallas Page.

This was just fun while it lasted. DDP's offense pretty much humiliated Kanyon but he started fighting back at one point only for a reversal to end up in the Diamond Cutter. Great squash that put over the Diamond Cutter as a move that can come out of nowhere.

WCW Saturday Night 6/24/1995: Harlem Heat v.s Road Warrior Hawk & Sting.

This was all over the place. The action was sloppy for the most part. I didn't like either team's approach to the match as it developed like complete trash. No rhyme or reason for half the stuff that happened. The ending was horrific as well. Sherri Martel tries to get involved for her team only to miss with some outside interference. She dove off the top rope at Sting who had the Scorpion Deathlock applied. Stevie Ray had to stop pounding on Hawk to kick at Sting to help his partner since Sherri should have never even bothered. After some chaotic back and forth, Harlem Heat decide to celebrate like they've won only for Sting to hit a crossbody... Pretty awful stuff but the action at points was good enough considering a lot of this talent isn't the best.

WCW Saturday Night 9/9/1995: Handicap Match- Bobby Starr & Scott D'Amore v.s Big Van Vader.

Watching Scott D'Amore take Vader's offense was great. Simple stuff here. D'Amore broke up a pinfall only to get the same treatment he just watched his partner suffer in the form of clubbing blows and a Vader Splash.

WCW Saturday Night 9/9/1995: The Grappler v.s Cobra.

Cobra is awful and watching him completely no sell the bigger Grappler's blows was just not believable. Ugh, fuck Cobra.

WCW Saturday Night: Eddie Jackie v.s Diamond Dallas Page.

Not nearly as good as Page's last squash I watched but Jackie starting off the match quickly with a dropkick was a good beginning. His advantage didn't last long as he missed a flyin' crossbody as he tried to follow up. Page hit a couple moves himself and then put him with the Diamond. Convincing squash at least.

WCW Saturday Night 9/9/1995: 3 Jobbers v.s The Dungeon of Doom(The Butcher, The Shark & Kamala).

Useless waste and I didn't catch of the jobber's names. The Dungeon of Doom storm the ring and clear house before Butcher hits a top rope move and that is it. This sure is a great way to build chemistry for your team going into War Games... Hahahahaha, naw this is just lame and a time waster.

WCW Saturday Night 9/9/1995: Dick Slater v.s Johnny B. Badd.

This match would have been better if it wasn't overbooked. It's like they wanted Badd to win but Slater couldn't lose cleanly because he was one half of the tag team champions. At least it pretty rugged as it went on. It was sloppy and the contrasting styles didn't flow very well here. Still, I'm a pretty big fan of Slater so getting to see him rough up Badd and sell like a champ was good sight for me. Still this was quite poor.

WCW Saturday Night 9/9/1995: Barry Houston v.s Brian Pillman.

Pillman hits some basic moves but he does so very solidly. He ends the match with a sick Tornado DDT. Pillman just looked great here and very impressive going into his PPV encounter with Johnny B. Badd.

WCW Saturday Night 9/9/1995: The Blue Bloods v.s Sting & Randy Savage.

I didn't like this. Well at least I didn't like how it was worked. Sting and Savage clearly were treated like they were better here and they aren't. I enjoyed how Regal and Eaton tried working this match looking for advantages and working at their own pace but they were ultimately here to make their opponents look great which of course they did. The action is sporadic and has some awkward exchanges. I should also bring up Sting was wearing Savage's attire to the ring and Savage was wearing Sting's face paint. They were getting ready for War Games... At least this looked like a much better match to help prepare for it then what the Dungeon of Doom had earlier. So ehh.... this just didn't come off very well for me. Whatever.

ROH Honor Nation - Best-of-Three Series, Match One: Bryan Danielson vs. Austin Aries

Awesome stuff here. These two are so good in the ring that the match was absolutely flawless in it’s execution. Everything flowed so well, with all the mat-based wrestling and encounter which were so smooth. I seen people upset with the first 5/10 minutes saying they a bit too much chain wrestling but i say FUCK THAT, maybe it's because i'm a suck for chain wrestling so i loved it. But once they got the chain wrestling out of their system they took it to another level and started showing flashes of some of their 05/06 intensity. This was a great match to start off the seious and i'm pretty happy they didn't go balls-to-the-wall and left the crowd wanting more for the next 2 matches. ***3/4

ROH Chaos at the Cow Palace: Best-of-Three Series, Match Two: Austin Aries vs. Bryan Danielson

Another great match by these two which is no surprise. They told a wonderful story in the ring with Bryan being able to counter all of Aries moves plus taking his aggression and determination to do whatever it takes to win the match e.g. resorting to some short cuts, it really reminded me of some of his ROH title run. I did prefer the wrestling in the first match but this had awesome psychologically. ***3/4

ROH Glory By Honor VI, Night 1 - Best-of-Three, Match Three: Austin Aries vs. Bryan Danielson

They did it again just another classic match MIND-BLOWING I KNOW!!!!. This match was a great way to end the series, I love the story telling from the first two and rounding them off intelligently. Lots of familiarity countering since they know each other so well. Aries won the first match with his new submission finisher so spent most of the time working towards that hold, whilst Danielson won the second with an aggressive approach and repeatedly cut off Aries’ comebacks with a sneaky little cheap shot, a rake to the nose or a quick burst of strikes. This was full of counters and blocks of well-known moves. Counters of those counters. Counters of those into new moves and sequences. **** - ****1/4 You know what the crazy thing is the had 3 awesome match and you knew they could of had allot better match, so imagine if they went full out. WOW

WWE NXT 07/18/2012 - Tamina Snuka vs. Kaitlyn

This was not the great technical match but they really tried their best, but you can see both Divas are still green and have allot to learn still. And as much as i love Kaitlyn she doesn't seem to be improving that much don't get me wrong shes better then when she first debuted but not that much. Her heel work in the match was hilarious tho. 1/2*

WWE NXT 07/18/2012 - “Showtime” Percy Watson vs. Jinder Mahal

I'm not a fan of either of these men but this was good. Mahal is pretty sound in the ring and controled the pacing in this but it's like he didn't want to take it to another gear. Percey looked but he still showed his greeness and made a couple of mistakes but it still was a good showing by both. **1/2 I loved how Regal was putting both guys over on commentary i miss that.

WCW Saturday Night 2/24/1996: TV Title Match- Chris Benoit v.s Johnny B. Badd(c).

For a majority of this is was just Benoit hitting crisp moves, strikes and stretching apart Badd until he makes a few comeback pin attempts. It doesn't really escalate because Benoit gets himself or Badd DQed when he moved out of the way from Badd's top rope Sunset Flip only to take the referee over. Never found out who Nick Patrick ended up DQing for this. The action was pretty good, Badd taking Benoit's moveset was quite nice. There just needed to be a pay off after all this and I'm not too sure there is a return bout but I'm going to try to find one someday. Still some pretty decent stuff here.
