Last Sporting Event You Watched?

Am I the only one?

Am I the only person here who thinks this "unpredictable" Raw is getting old. If you think about it its not really unpredictable. It's been basically the same matches for the past 2-3 weeks.

Batista vs Punk - Punk wins with somebody interfering
CTC vs JBL and Priceless or Cena vs JBL
Priceless verbally attacking Hacksaw
Jericho and Cade insulting Shawn
Somebody claiming they are GM
Somebody challenging Punk and someone else says "No I want a shot". Punk chooses one and wins by DQ through interference

I swear made better consecutive shows playing EWR. This is getting old and Raw needs some type of GM to make Raw under control. I really hope that there are different shows and angles tonight. What do you guys think?

The Batista-Punk rematch was a real disappointment - they could've came up with a slightly different finish couldn't they?

I don't necessarily agree with you that rematched from one show to the next is bad - rematches make sense to me at least. Not for too many consecutive weeks though.

Just read this bit : "different angles" - why would you want different angles. The storylines are pretty solid atm (apart from JBL-Cena which ran its course a long time ago imo)

Wtf it's either this or the same old shit we've seen a million times, quit complaining because they had a match to continue a feud 2 weeks in a row.

I'm not tired of it at all. Raw has been better ever since they started doing this.

Raw and Smackdown have been pretty lame for a while now. Vince is desperate to keep viewers, he is trying everything, even going as far as giving away money lol. The WWE needs to go back to basics, stop giving rookies mic time, if they are not good on the mic, don't let them on it. They need to stop with the lame acting and soap opera stories, like Cena randomly flirting with Mickie James, which looks so awkward and out of place, and focus on good wrestling matches with short mic bits from wrestlers who are good on the mic. At this point not many wrestlers are any good on the mic, so I would suggest just show the matches if need be. There are a lot of good wrestlers who need to be seen with more ring time. A lot of the matches, especially women's matches, are way too short. We need to see more of the female wrestlers with ring time as well. Cut out the acting bits, and lame skits, and we can see more and longer and better matches.

I've been enjoying RAW as it is. I find it unpredictable and its been really fun to watch. Its ending tonight though, I'm pretty sure Shane Mcmahon is going to debut a new GM for RAW and things will get back to normal again..........................................................................................................................................................................................................................unless Steve Austin is the new GM lol

i really dont think thats its that unpredictable. i think that the same stuff is happening again and again but with different people. i.e. run-ins in Punks matches. the only good things are the good feuds but they all are too closely related that it can easily be confusing. Multiple people always want to fight Punk cause they think they can beat them but someone interferes so Punk wins. I will only be happy with this chaos if it leads to a EC at SummerSlam

I'm loving what wwe is doing at the moment, Its been the best they have done in awhile, and after tonight's Raw Regal will probably be back and change the dynamics a bit i hope they keep up the unpredictable thing going.

It's not getting old yet. After a few months it might, but for now, it's great. And soon, they will add a gm. That will make it less of the anarchy thing, but it wills till be booked in an unpredictable way, with the gm doing unpredictable things. This is good IMO.

tonights Raw has been better than the past weeks. ive anticipated for the reveal of the new GM since Shane came out and have been excited cause he couldve came out at anytime. if its Bischoff he couldve came out during the Highlight Reel. then when JBL had Kane's bag, he couldve ripped it open and showed us what was in it and did anyone else see Kane tilt his head like he used to. this Raw has been much better excluding Cole wrestling and Adamle taking his spot. good to see JR on Raw but this Raw is great and i love it. im predicting a EC at SS

Edit: Ok now this was the most unpredictable thing that has ever happened in wrestling. Mike fucking Adamle is the General Manager of Raw. i take back everything that i have said about Raw being unpredictable. im just really pissed that Adamle is the GM.

Well the new GM has been announced, and this has potential of wither being really good or crashing and buring. They went with the person not alot of us would have ever suspected. ( sheds a tear at Bischoff not being the choice )

Anyways, when it comes down to it, there is either the predictable WWE that we saw for months in a row, or the UNpredictable Raw which we are just now starting to see. I frankly, was sick of seeing the same things over and over. We havent realy had enough time to see whether this will be a better way for the WWE to work or not.

And I dont know why there is always people complaining about the length of the storylines. I wish they would stretch the storylines out even longer, months if necessary. Its hard to build up intensity and emotion, and to get the crowd involved in the story if you introduce a feud and then have it come to an end two weeks later. Its also one of the best ways to allow the wrestlers to evolve and develop their characters. Crowd reaction is the key to marketing.
