Another source is denying this though

The Twitter poster should of said with merch not which merch on the way to sell for them.

It's gotta be why Pentas Eager going as they're gonna make some BIG money merch wise in WWE. I wouldn't mind a replica of of his masks they're really cool look wise . Just to put in my collection which isn't huge but I've gotta few Figures and Tees I have never used or wore ever. When AEW done the first Penta Says tee I've got one put away in my collection never to be worn.

Yeah I do think Fenix is suffering for the sins of his brother. If it was Penta having injury time tacked on, I'd actually might side with Tony since he has been the one mouthing off apparently about signing with WWE.
That's what I think too.

I know everyone hates him now, but I'm taking Meltzer's report over guys that said they already signed with WWE and then had to walk it back because their AEW ones hadn't even ended yet

But a funny scenario I can see happening is Tony changing his mind after getting backlash in like a week and then these guys saying haha we told you so :lol
gonna get some heat but I hope he doesn't. I know it's mean but I think he needs to make an example out of someone to stop future bullshit pulled like Penta allegedly pulled. Unless Penta did nothing wrong in which case ya he's being a dick. But ya at some point, it gets exhausting taking the high road and you gotta whip your proverbial dick out and lay down who's boss ig

edit: people been saying for 5 years they want Tony to be more of a boss and act like a businessman instead of a mark.

If the report is true and more time is added, then it’s well within TK’s right.

I’ve said this before but I’m a firm believer that if you’re going to keep someone under this clause though, do something with them. Don’t just keep them so they can’t go elsewhere.

well it becomes more complicated when *allegedly* they don't wanna do the job. if thats the case, then ya, benching them is appropriate (assuming it is true)

It's gonna be fun when the timeline for this comes out in like a year after everyone forgot about what they were arguing about anyway

I hope all new AEW contracts state stuff like if you refuse to do jobs etc you get fined and or suspended. I don't want another WCW situation

Has anyone confirmed the whole “he didn’t want to do jobs” story or are we believing the dirt sheets?

SRS just did and he's the same one saying injury time is being added (along with Meltzer) so depends on if we wanna pick and choose which stories we believe from them or not

I mean dirtsheets would be the only ones "confirming" it unless you expect Tony or Lucha bros to confirm it. This isn't any different than any other report. I think it was SRS who originally reported it but I am not 100% sure, hence why I made sure to use the word allegedly

Also was pretty obvious they waited until the absolute last minute to put PAC in the BCC to give him the Wembley title win they wanted to give Death Triangle as a whole, it was booked the day before

SRS I would say objectively has a very strong track record along with Johnson. Meltzer is hit or miss lately but it also depends on if you quote his rpeorts or his radio banter

Like I can't speak for Fenix but it sounds like Penta burned a bridge before having all his ducks in a row - and probably got bad advice from Konnan

Hey, you take out all the dirt sheet reports and you're left with Penta saying he's always been and always will be AEW "at this moment" so IMO I think everything is rosey and they're staying lol
