like I said too it complicates the matter when it is being reported AEW wants to use them as well. But ya also the fact people can even refuse creative is kind of insane

Yeah that's why I think that part of it is just being misrepresented when reported. I think it's much more likely the talent is saying they don't WANT to do something and Tony is then choosing to not use them and using someone that does want to do his creative instead. It's not an outright refusal to come to work, I'm sure they would if they were told they have to, but I don't think Tony wants to invite them if he perceives they don't want to.

Because otherwise, I feel like it would have to be a Sasha/Naomi walking out situation, not sitting at home saying "nah not flying out this week, Tony" that just sounds preposterous

I agree it's likely something nuanced like this and not "yeah I ain't going to work boss fire me if you mad"

Yeah I think it's like, they say they don't wanna do it, he says okay, they expect another pitch soon, and they just might not get one bc he's moved on.

And guys that have figured out that system could obviously manipulate it, that's on Tony

agreed, and vice versa tho, ppl have figured out that if u dont say no to a bunch of pitches from tony ur chance of getting booked and pushed are very high

Nah, I think he just means Lucha Underground, AAA, and now AEW. Not sure what AAA he means exactly but I thought the not being allowed to work AEW shows with CMLL talent before this year was that one. It could be something else tho...it's AAA lol

Can someone actually find what the Fightful Report says exactly bc this implies the timeline was Penta told people he was going, then had injury time added for about two months, then he got worried they'd do it to Fenix so that was when he tweeted that clarification "my present is in AEW"

I don't really grasp anything new from that if it's what happened other than, like I said earlier, we'll probably learn the full timeline way down the line in pieces and by the time we do know what really happened, no one will care lol for example, through Tony and Ethan Page's comments, we've basically been able to piece together the timeline of his last few months that we had questions of at the time but by now no one actually cares

Also would be a lot more harsher on this (still stand by that doing this to Fenix is wrong) if Penta had not been a fucking moron ignoring even the jobbing stuff. Him getting his deal extended feels fair and it sounds like it happened because of Penta's basically telling everyone

Also was pretty obvious they waited until the absolute last minute to put PAC in the BCC to give him the Wembley title win they wanted to give Death Triangle as a whole, it was booked the day before
Collison was taped btw on the Wednesday that week not Saturday as the person there live.

Yeah penta is a moron for blabbing in the locker room. Tampering happens all the time but when you don't keep it on the dl or worse rub it peoples face, dont be shocked the boss doesn't take it too well...
