Andre was slammed a bunch of times in Japan. Just because WWF said only Hogan could do it doesn't mean its true.

He wasn't slammed a bunch of times. Most wrestlers get slammed in every single match. Andre was wrestling for 20 years and he was slammed about 15 times.

But the point is that you're trying to make it sound like only Hogan could do it, which is what I'd expect from someone who's spent their whole life listening to and reading mostly WWE's revisionist history.

And where did you come up with the number 15 anyway? Did you count? How many matches did Andre wrestle in Japan that weren't televised? How many times do you think he was slammed in them? Regardless, once again you are wrong but you refuse to admit it and just argue pointless drivel like you think you know what you're talking about.

Because it was supposed to be a big deal. Though if they wanted it to be, it could have not been. If Mil Mascaras can slam Andre, just about anyone during that period could have. They just booked him smart, it's not like he didn't have any other choice.

Anyways, Anderson needs to get in shape or become a commentator already.

He has been looking a little pudgy lately.

That being said, Anderson ftw.

Just because if there's one person who's less reliable than Anderson, it's Jeff. But Anderson is because of injuries. Jeff's because of... well... you know what..

You think Hogan came up with his character, booked his rise, and promoted his matches all by himself? I wouldn't think so. Vince could have put any number of people in Hulk's spot. Greg Valentine, Paul Orndorff, John Studd, hell, Jimmy Valiant.... any of them could have done the things that Hulk did. All Greg needed was a tan and to cut some weight and there you have yourself a Hogan. Top stars are always expendable and if one person can play the role, there are at least five people out there that could play the part just as well. Or in those three's cases, probably better, since all of them were superior wrestlers.

You don't know if those men could have pulled it off. But Hogan did it amazingly and put wrestling on the map. And by the way, I'm not saying Vince isn't important. He's incredibly important but it takes the right wrestler to play the role. Hulk played his role great.

You only think he played the role great, becuase you've never seen anyone else play it. He could have been par for the course in that role for all we know, but since he had Vince's favor, we'll never know how other folks would have performed.

You think he was slammed as many times as other 250 pound wrestlers? Ok great.

Actually, Ken is looking a little better than he did upon his initial return. But not great, by any means. I'd say he needs to lay off all that Wisconsin dairy and beer, but I'm guilty of the same thing.

No, I don't think he was slammed that many times, but it was definitely more than 15 and it was definitely done by other guys than just Hogan. Dude, I've seen 6 man tags where Andre was slammed multiple times in the same match, so I don't know what you're going on about here.

Exactly we'll never know so you can't say that others could have played the role great. And I guess I cant say that they couldn't. So how about we put this behind us and talk about impact.

Ok fine you win. Theres really no point in arguing how many times a guy was slammed.
