Paul Heyman signed a new deal with WWE as his original agreement with the company was only through Summerslam.

As PWInsider.com noted when Heyman returned to the company earlier this year, one of the reasons Heyman came in was that he and CM Punk were pitching to do something together. The two have been close dating back to 2006 when they worked together in WWE developmental and Heyman was Punk's first (and in some cases, only) ally during the early days of his WWE run in their version of ECW.

Heyman is expected to appear on a semi-regular basis going forward, which will also help forward the continuation of Brock Lesnar vs. Triple H down the line.

I'm not surprised by this as I didn't feel he was fully done yet. It's nice to have it confirmed however.

I like Heyman, but not paired with Punk. Oh well.

Why not paired with Punk? I'm pretty sure most here love that, I do at least.

Of all the people who could possibly use a manager, Punk is probably last on that list unless they wish to go the Brock route of him appearing less on TV to give him and his title run a longer shelf life. When you use someone like Heyman as a manager, you want him speaking. Problem is, any time Heyman gets to speak is time Punk isn't talking.

Interesting option to see if they can get fans to boo Punk though. So far, not much is working, even though Punk is acting up all sorts of different heel tactics. Bullying and beating up an old man hasn't worked at all. Doing the classic heel bit of backing off or refusing matches didn't do much either. He even walked away from his home town and refused a match saying he's taking the night off and that didn't do much to get him any real boos.

Nobody even thinking Dangerous Alliance 2.0?

Would be cool as fuck, Punk the focal point, the champ, the measuring stick...Brock the muscle, he could dominate whenever he comes back, he could even be the guy Heyman and Punk call when shit gets real.

add a dive even, Nattie? dominate the whole roster, maybe even Swagger could come back rejuvenated and ready to kill shit.

Love this idea. Punk as the Champ and Star, Brock as the muscle. Nattie as the Diva would work. They would need a tag team too though and there really isn't one. Hennig and someone from NXT (Ohno) maybe?

Hennig and Curtis have been teaming as of late, and Curtis actually tweeted "Things are about to get seriously weird. Stay tuned ..." just a few minutes ago. I doubt there's any chance that means anything, but still, it crossed my mind.

Not a big Curtis fan but I think a guy like Hennig would benefit huge from this, especially if he dropped the silly name.

Curtis is the frickin' man, just saying.

I would love to see Heyman with The Ascension, they would benefit a lot from him/
