Apparently they already commissioned the new title. It looks like the big gold belt, but smaller and with a white strap. So yeah, it sounds like it looks better than the WWEWHC title.

It will be called "The Women's Division" which sounds a lot better than Divas but they will have to change the show or still refer to them as divas which is fine if they do, but do it to a lesser extent than now.

The 'real divas' vs Total divas match suddenly makes sense. But in fairness this week was the second time I've watched Raw this year, so I probably missed something.

My thoughts as well. No reason to change the show's name as Diva' can just refer to the "reality" show itself. Since not at of the women are on the show , it makes sense in my mind to separate it that way.

You have Natty, Paige, Alicia, Eva, that Tough Enough girl, and Cameron. Just isn't going to pull in great ratings. Especially when you take out the Nikki/John drama, and Bryan taking Brie to do hippy things.

Yeah i wouldn't be surprised if they stopped it all together and Daniel Bryan and Brie did their own show on the network. Heck, they can do both the twins since Nikki is with Cena.

Doesn't this reinforce a Shane win? Sure, Sasha may introduce the title, but I think it would be a lot more impactful if Shane was at the helm when she does it.

It's a very interesting thought and those ideas definitely coincide. Since Shane wants to change things, treating the women seriously is definitely a way to do that.

Also it was Stephanie who began the whole "Divas Revolution."

The most important thing with change is not just one minor detail, the division is horrible and I still claim Eve Marie is better then half the roster....*inserts complete audience laughter*. Now as far as the new belt--good but it better not be some joke of a temporary add, needs to have consistency and value to it.

considering I am a NXT "hater" I cant root for either talents for women's title but I am liking becky a lot so I guess her...

Getting rid of the term Diva is pretty cool, and I am curious on what WWE will make "based of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship"

Overall, all this seems like something really great, but of course changing the importance of a division is a lot easier said than done

They are not getting rid of the term diva. They'll just replace the belt with a women's title. The women will still be referred to as divas
